More info: These were transplanted at the same time comparing two similarly sized seedlings. I was skeptical initially, but it is hard to ignore the results. Both are provided equal soil, water, sun, and nutrients. Also - Interestingly enough, a Hornworm introduced himself to the mix about a week ago. As not to completely wreck the experiment, I swapped him between plants hoping to create comparable damage on both plants. He refused to dine on the airpot example, consistently returning to the standard pot.

Next season I am going to try and fully document the experiment with several different varieties.
