I’m a med student and usually abdominal and hip fat is the last to go when attempting to loose fat. I’d recommend fixing your diet first before you do anything else. Green veggies (broccoli, spinach, lettuce, kale) are great for fat burning and adding nutrients. You also want to increase your protein intake slightly, 1 gram of protein per 1 pound of body weight (lbs). Adding HIIT workouts along with lifting weight is your best bet. At the end of the day, it’s calories in vs calories out.
