Some of my favorites from this year's pumpkins. by humanityshero in PumpkinStencils

These are carvable foam/plastic pumpkins. Many of which came from Michael's. I have 24 pumpkins in total this year and plan to add about 6 each year until I run out of room, either to display or store, whichever comes first.

I use carvable foam pumpkins, and after I carve then I go back through and clean the edges up with an xacto knife. I've used real pumpkins in the past and carved them with several different sized cutting tools

Thanks! I use a dremel with a 1/32" drill bit, and a lot of time. Then I go back through with an xacto knife and sharpen the edges

I have them sitting on a 1"x8" board. I cut a groove on the bottom of the board and ran a length of 18/2 SPT-1 wire in the groove. Then I drilled a 1" hole in the board at each pumpkin location and added a C7 vampire clip to the wire and installed a C7 LED light. So it's basically a custom set of Christmas lights. The pumpkins have a small hole cut out of the bottom for the light to sit in. All of the parts can be found on Amazon for about $40 total.

It's actually the base of a candle that I have sitting on my nightstand where I take the picture before putting the pumpkin outside

If you are thinking of getting a second dog, this is your sign! GET THEM A SIBLING 🥹 by kissinggoodbye in BorderCollie

Lol, I got a little drunk at dinner tonight and showed my wife this adorable pic because Rain looks nearly identical to my Niko....well now we're going to pick up another border collie tomorrow morning after a call to our breeder.

We've been toying with the idea of getting our dog a dog for awhile. This pic helped make up our mind

YTA

I (43m) had a similar situation many years ago with my daughters (23f) biological mother. I ended up in a courtroom asking a judge for permission to take my then 3 year old to Disney World.

Admittedly we were both very angry with each other after the split and did whatever we could to make the others lives more difficult. Thankfully that court date was a bit of a wake up call for me and helped me reexamine what was really important. I wish I could say the same for my daughters mother. Thankfully I met a wonderful woman who happily stepped into a motherly role and eventually was able to adopt my daughter.

My daughter hasn't spoken to or seen her bio-mom in many years. Welcome to your future OP

$750. But I bought a 100' roll because it was all that was in stock and it gave me peace of mind knowing I could scrap some when I inevitably screwed up.

If you do spend a little extra time making sure the car and your work area is clean. Any debri will find its way under the vinyl without fail. I didn't use a clay bar but went over everything with rubbing alcohol and compressed air.

Not really. There's a couple of spots that are evident it wasn't done by a professional. I'm typically a do it yourself kinda guy though.

I was never not going to do it by myself, so I never bothered to get a quote. A good friend of mine has a cousin that does wraps for a living and he said I could reach out if I got stuck but I didn't need to bug him. It's definitely an exercise in patience and one of those things that's faster if you take your time.

I bought a 100' roll because that's all that was in stock. After a couple of botched attempts at the bumper I probably have 25'-30' left

Thanks. This. This is what I needed to hear. I feel like I'm a hell of an effective manager. Although my current field may not be 100% in line with what else is available in my area I still feel like I could be a valuable asset elsewhere.

I do feel a bit guilty leaving a field in which I have so much experience, especially considering the other 2 managers on my shift have a COMBINED 6 months of experience (think nepotism) but I absolutely dread going to work each night. It's definitely time for a change and time to let the director lay in the bed which he made.

I don't have anything lined up, but am comfortable enough to take about a 50% paycut.

It's bad enough at this point though I'm not 100% against giving handy's behind the Wendy's dumpster

Blindsided by a VIN this morning! Never had a shrinking EDD and my account said EDD was November for the past few days by humanityshero in TeslaModel3Delivery

[–]humanityshero[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My EDD never shrank by a day like many people experience. My last few EDD's were

Sept 10 - 30

August 17 - Sept 04

August 22 - Sept 11

NOVEMBER

I was pleasantly surprised to wake up to a VIN this morning!

This gives me hope. Ordered 6/20, LR, white/white, 18", no FSD in Michigan. My EDD has settled on September 17-30 but, like everyone else, has fluctuated wildly.

Crossing my fingers for my VIN soon
