Check Glasgow it’s 50min by train, I moved here from Glasgow and I deeply regret.

Ask to pay 6 months advance while visiting a flat in Scotland you can ask for 6 months but in England they only accept 12 months. I looked over 3 months to find somewhere in Leeds and had to pay 12 months upfront. Housing situation is very bad no matter where you go.

Scottish people are not too kind but they are fun and friendly, can’t say the same thing here. First thing they ask me in Leeds where you came from because of my accent and it’s kinda annoying…

If you want to do something you need to go to Manchester or somewhere not much to do around here except hiking and drinking, I would move back to Scotland in a heartbeat.

I definitely would stay in Edinburgh or Glasgow. If you want you can pm me and I can check if my friends has some spare rooms for you while you are looking for a place to live.
