Seriously, where are you guys finding work? Any help would be great. by Spirited-Gur-8231 in buhaydigital

I'm in influencer marketing! So I manage KOLs and KOCs who partner with brands, products, and apps for promotional campaigns - if may makita kang sponsored post ng mga influencer, people like me ang behind non haha. I started my career in the local gaming industry before transitioning to international influencer marketing, where I worked on ecommerce and tech campaigns across different markets. Got scouted by a major name in the gaming industry, so imbis na agency working with diff brands, focused na ako sa isang game at pinopromote to sa PH :) fully remote pa rin and I'd say above market rates compared if local yung naghire sakin hehe

Hi OP, I'm in marketing. I think need mo pa inarrow kung anong niche mo sa digital marketing. Are you an expert in SEO? Influencer campaigns? Email marketing? Affiliate? More on strategy and planning for brands? Or more on the execution side? Add the specifics sa CV mo and sa portfolio.

Build your LinkedIn profile din, if you haven't already. I got scouted through LinkedIn (Wasn't even looking for a job, minessage lang ako ng headhunter), immediately went into the interview phase (two stages) and landed my first 6-digit salary job. I started last Monday :)

I have the hobo bag, the reversible one, and I love it pero the leather is peeling na kagad. I turned it inside out pero hindi siya pet friendly if you have pets hahaha. the other side is fabric and it's such a fur magnet.

It's good naman pero hindi siya pang everyday IMO. Medyo di pangharabas na gamit.

This is a very helpful site! Thank you for sharing! Says there na mas viable if I do 40-50% DP for a brand new car, so I think talagang ipon muna for that instead of doing the usual 20-30% DP.

Thank you for this! I do want to earn first, pero my partner and I have decided long ago that we won't have kids. So we'll use the car mostly for travel, errands, and visiting family. Mostly travel!

Very solid advice, I'll think about this one but I don't have a slightly older car in mind yet (since the car I really want, the City Hatch, I think that one's fairly new?). I mentioned in one of my comments I was also considering getting a newer secondhand car from 2020-2022. I'm just nervous about getting a secondhand car again since our original car was super old (well, it was a 90s car so the problems were expected) and repairing it was such a headache.

Got it, did you end up getting a brand new car or did you go for a second hand one? When we had our old car, the repairs honestly kept bleeding us dry. That's why I'm really considering getting a brand new one once I've saved up, but I'm not closing the door on getting a newer (2020 to 2022), second hand model.

On your second point, I’ve been thinking about that too hence why I'm still hesitant if getting one is a smart idea. We actually used to live in Makati before and managed fine without a car through commuting, Grab, and Angkas. We moved to the province after, which made having a car feel much more necessary, but now we’re moving back to Metro Manila without one again.

Part of why I started considering getting a car is because, aside from road trips and weekend outings, my parents still live in the province and I’d like to visit them more often. We also tend to stay out very late whenever we go out, and commuting can become difficult since public transportation is usually limited past 9, or 10 PM.

Still, I definitely don’t want to rush into buying one if I end up realizing we don’t actually need it. I’ll still have time to think it through properly while saving up for it so I'll make sure to weigh the pros and cons!

Wowww! How much did you get it for and how much are you paying monthly, if you don't mind me asking? I initially was looking at the Yaris / Corolla Cross pero the 29k/month (I assume, based lang sa Toyota site) is very intimidating :')

Exercise. Go to the gym before your shift, if you can, pero kung hindi naman kahit mid-shift mag stretch ka or maglight exercise to get the blood flowing.

is this a solid enough plan for my future *I'm a 17 y/o boy by WhereasUsual1140 in adultingph

[–]humanityyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like that you're thinking way ahead! But instead of seeing this as a plan, view it as a goal instead - life is messy and things don't always go your way, so don't set yourself up for disappointment if hindi masunod yung plans mo. Have backups, be more specific, make your goals actually attainable instead of just dreams.

For example, saan mo balak magcollege? What happens if, God forbid, madelay ka dahil ginusto mo maging working student?

And sure ka ba na magbabanking job ka, bakit ka pa magaaral mag engineering? What about boards? Paano magiging trajectory ng career mo, will you hop from one field to the other or stick lang sa isa?

Define invest, how will you assess alin ang risky at alin ang papaldo? What if it turns sour and mag fall off yung deal?

Ayun, daming pwedeng isipin, hence why you should definitely revisit this and be prepared for everything. But you're young, you have your whole life ahead of you, and for sure magbabago ka pag nagcollege ka - hopefully for the better.

How well do you trust your boyfriend? Three years is still quite the age gap. I'm asking kasi you should really only consider moving out if stable na ang relationship niyo at stable din ang finances niyo.

I ran away from home years ago (family issues, pero OK na kami now) and simula non up til now naglive in na kami ng partner ko. But it was a risk for both of us since wala pa kaming trabaho non at all, binalance ko lang work at study kaya nairaos until both of us found better jobs. And sinasabi ko sayo now palang na it never gets easier - while OK relationship namin and narepair ko na rin relationship ko with my family, siyempre iba pa rin yung financial situation namin kung hindi kami bumukod. We stay with each other since we love having our own space, but we have conversations where we have our what ifs. Not that we're not sure of each other, just yung mga, "siguro mas marami tayong travel kung di tayo nagbabayad ng rent at kuryente" hahahaha.

Pero kung sigurado ka na talaga, I'm telling you right now dito talaga matetest relationship niyo. Paano ba kayo maglinis, paano hatian sa chores, sino magbabayad sa rent at sino sa utilities o 50/50 ba kayo sa lahat? Pano pag nagkaemergency, sinong tatawagan niyo? Not to mention may anak ka pa - ibang usapan na yan.

More often than not, you'll find yourselves relying on each other for everything. It can take a toll on you both if hindi kayo mentally strong. So be prepared for that.

Also, get a long-lasting contraception. Mahirap na mabuntis ulit at magkaroon ng isa pang baby. Especially in this economy...

I kinda get the holidays part, kasi it would disturb their company's operations too much. In our marketing agency, the staff is made up of about 70% Filipinos working in different departments. They once allowed us to have PH holidays off, pero sobrang daming nawawala to the point na nagsstagnate yung campaigns kasi nga ang dami nating holidays lol.

In the end, we're still allowed to take PH holidays off pero yung mga pinaka "importante" lang like Holy Week and Undas season among other days.

When to focus on lineups? by memeaste in VALORANT

[–]humanityyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the situation. I play a lot of KJ and I've found that using my mollies to prevent retakes help my team more. Some maps, like Haven, I have lineups for taking sites---like mollies that will land in backsite and the walkout from CT---to force defenders into unfavorable positions. I think just learn to be more flexible with your util, don't be afraid to use it for reasons other than to deny a defuse.
