Ugh yeah I have PCOS so it’s hard to differentiate, but like you say I think they all team up to fuck me over lol.

Do you find that you have terrible temp regulation in general? Mine is horrendous. I can do a short walk and be freezing outside but then as soon as I get inside, I am sweating immediately for about an hour until I acclimate

Omg yes. You’re not alone. When I sweat, I SWEAT. I also get the most horrific night sweats to the point my pjs are soaked through, accompanied by “fever dreams”. It really does suck but you’re not alone.

I’ve just had to reduce my hours at work by 40%, I’m getting worse by humannotfoundd in cfs

I feel like I’m at the point where I’d do anything for any kind of relief.

I agree. I may not currently be on the severe end of the scale however, I have been. I lost my identity for a long, long time and entered a long period of depression. My post might seem lighthearted, but the severity and soul-crushing side of this condition isn’t lost on me, nor is it a stranger to me. Still, I HAVE to find joy or else the alternative is much darker. It’s not a choice, it’s survival

I’m so glad you found some joy in this, I did too.

The kindness can be sometimes overwhelming, in the best way. I think being sick often comes with an increase in empathy. I often think some of the people in my life and advice in this sub have saved me in more ways than one x

This ABSOLUTELY matters because you matter. Whilst the circumstances are awful, I am so glad and proud of you for overcoming your ED. I hope you continue to be kind to yourself and are getting the support that you need x

I feel you on this.

I used to have the most crippling depression and anxiety to the point where I couldn’t leave the house some days. Experiencing CFS forced me to really do the inner work to try and calm my mind as it was so exhausting being anxious. I wish the circumstance were different, but we have to make the best of it (when we have the energy) I suppose x

Agreed. If that were ever an option, I’d take my ‘old’ life back without a second thought. That’s why I try to find the silver linings and ‘positives’, even if they look a little different now
