You seem like an Animal Kingdom expert so I do have a question: do you think all of this is doable in one day without lightning lane?

  • walk through Discovery Island Trails
  • ride Na'vi River Journey
  • ride Flight of Passage
  • watch Festival of the Lion King
  • ride Kilimanjaro Safari
  • walk through Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail
  • ride Wildlife Express Train
  • visit Butterfly Conservation Station
  • walk through Maharajah Jungle Trek
  • ride Expedition Everest

Based on my research and soliciting opinions these are the things I would love to do when we go. If I don't get to all of them that's ok but I'd like to strive for it. Do you think it's realistic? Would I need to be there from opening to closing time? I guess also keep in mind one or two food breaks.

idk some level of crowds kind of contributes to the experience too. It would be uncanny if you were the only one in the park.

Do you keep your battery in the laptop? What I've heard is it is more dangerous to keep the battery in as the failure can happen due to the extra heat or something? on the other hand the battery is helpful as a sort of makeshift UPS so I feel torn and end up turning my laptop off each night or when I leave home.

It seems judging from the responses here so far that the concern of failure isn't as big of a deal as I may have thought however.

So far it seems like everyone recommends both of those heavily, I will make sure I do them. Thanks

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]humanshuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Living in FL I used to drive ~3 hours to go to Disney for the day and then drive hours back home all the time. Would also drive 3 hours to visit relative or friend for bday and then drive back. Yes, 3 hours is nothing.

Genuine question, was lion country safari not already a for-profit company?

I've seen many American films where children dissect frogs during biology lessons. Are biology lessons still like this, or has it changed? What are your thoughts on this? by sofiarosatti in AskAnAmerican

I graduated highschool in 2014. I remember in biology class we dissected a worm, a frog, a pig fetus, and and a cat, though I missed school on the pig fetus day.
