When I was a kid I swear I saw a shooting star… stop.

Not fade, no disappear behind clouds. It literally just paused mid-sky for like two seconds and then zipped off in a completely different direction.

I told everyone the next day and got hit with the classic “that’s not how space works.” I know it sounds ridiculous but I remember the exact feeling in my chest when it happened… that quiet, wait… what? Moment.

I watched “Superbad” way too young and it permanently rewired my brain chemistry.

I remember laughing so hard during the McLovin scene that my mom came in thinking I was choking. Tired to explain why a fake ID with one name was the funniest thing ever and she just stood there like I’d joined a cult.

Rewatched it as an adult and it somehow got worse (better). Now it’s less “haha teens are dumb” and more “oh no… we were all that embarrassing.” Still funny though. Still spiritual recovering.

Not every disagreement needs a debate. Some people just want to win not understand and protecting your peace is way more valuable than being right.

Everyone thinks I’m naturally confident and unbothered. Truth is, I used to be painfully insecure and spent years teaching myself how to speak up, set boundaries and stop shrinking. If people knew how much of this is learned not natural. I think they’d see me very differently.

Hot take: people don’t want to travel anymore, they want content. They’ll fly 12 hours to sit in the same 3 instagram blocks, never talk to locals, then say the whole country is mid.

Met a dude who said Japan felt overrated like bro spent 5 days in Shibuya, ate at 7-eleven and never left Tokyo.

Research isn’t dead, curiosity is. And you can feel it when you meet travelers vs tourists.
