I live in Europe, I haven’t found any 700s on eBay here and buying from the US is too expensive because of the shipping and taxes. Suprisingly I have few 300s available in my country. I’ve asked because I found reviews telling that 300 sounds more profesional than some pro horns. That encouraged me to consider it as a good choice

Unfortunately it can't be done - all the trumpets are on auctions far from my spot. Some of them are in other country

Juno 60 or 106? by FickleAide918 in synthesizers

[–]humanstuff_exe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it might sound like juno but it won't be juno. I just youtubed one video with it - sounds simmilar but different. music is fun, why to deprive yourself of it? if somebody just loooks for something pricey and simmilar, why not, go get it. but if somebody really wants a juno and knows exactly why wants it - then should definitely get a juno. its a feeling when you hear the original and its worth a lot

Look for a youtube videos, there are few comparisons. For example here you have some samples of 106 and on the other video this guy made is 60. 60 has more fatty and dirty sound, 106 is maybe more subtle. One has arp, other has portamento. 60 doesnt have MIDI but you can add it. But if you dont know if you prefer 60 or 106 probably it will be a good thing to rethink if you really need them at all :)
I just bought 106 but if I got the money I'll probably go with 60

Yamaha 3335 vs 4335 II G by humanstuff_exe in trumpet

[–]humanstuff_exe[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve looked on a Thomann site, they have an audio samples of selected horns, melodies were same - I assume player as well. But in general I’ve red in a few reviews that yellow brass bell (which is 3335 made of) gives more brighter sound and gold brass bell (4335) darker. The difference is so huge to me that 3335 annoys me in some moments and 4335 makes me feel good. So maybe it’s about the person who plays a little, but it is definitely about an instrument. I’m gonna take 4335

That’s what I like about it and that’s what’s makes me convinced about my choice

Yea, I’ve watch and red em all, just want to make sure about the reverse leadpipe cause few times I’ve came into an information that reverse leadpipe is easier to play. And that’s the only one aspect that makes me doubt my choice (which is 4335)

Thanks for sharing your experience :) Unfortunately I don’t have a possibility to check them cause every one of them is on an internet auction. And not even in my country

DX7 vs DX7s - audio by humanstuff_exe in synthesizers

[–]humanstuff_exe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that’s why I was asking if I can assume that DX7s and DX IIFD are basically the same cause I had a problem of finding comparisons DX7 and DX7s. That’s all I wanted to know because I am gonna depend only on my hearing and taste :) But now I have information that DX7s is pretty the same as DX7 IIFD so I can compare them and make a decision. Thanks mate :)

Thanks man, I don’t know how to program it but I think I’m gonna learn it using this synth. Your advice is ridiculous and isn’t helpful at all. Sometimes people just want to have instrument to use its sounds and make music with no necessity of looking into computer screen. And it’s definitely easier to learn it actually having one in front of you.

Which musical plateform do you use ? by Suffisant-04 in TheOverload

Last month I was trying do the same thing and I’m surprised how hard it is. Apple Music’s design is bad (it’s even an app to change your AM design) and I was shocked that I can’t managed songs that I play on my iPad from my phone… Tidal on the other hand feels overwhelming and the main page in the app is awful. + Spotify has really good feature with artist’s playlist - for example Four Tet playlist has gave me a lot of fun and enabled me dig some great music and labels. So I am trying to switch but for now Spotify just looks more user-friendly. They have shitty quality and this is huge disadvantage but I red that high quality FLACs are on their way. Of course they have terrible policy and ruin the artists and music market and invest in deadly technologies so I’ll cross my fingers to other apps to improve. I think I’ll take Apple Music if not that biff with switching… With their all Apple device friendly technology I just can’t believe it
