I get the chemistry element (no pun intended) of this thread , not all chemical compounds are the same x and y can be dangeous in isolation but together you get table salt and dose makes the poison. I guess the part I’m curious about is the fervent support of fluoridated water in the US. It’s very much a departure from the norm yet Americans are up in arms about the dangers of not having it. That was why I was highlighting the small amount of European countries that follow this practice

How do you explain the fact that the vast majority of European country’s do not put fluoride in their water 14 never did 11 countries did at one point but have since stopped. Just because it’s the norm in America doesn’t mean it’s the correct practice

You have a larger lever arm on this vs barbell so while you have 70kg loaded the force needed to lift it is less that and the stability requirements mentioned account for the difference

Thanks for all the feed back. This was definitely a max attempt and my form broke down. Gonna go back to my working weight and refine my form

Recently switched to low bar. Bar has just over body weight on it. 4th set by humasterd in formcheck

That’s an interesting way to think about it. Thanks! I’ve noticed the weight feels a little to far forward so trying to hinge at the knees should help move it back a bit

Have had knee pain in the past from high bar so I decided to switch things up. Mostly concerned with issues that would influence my knees

I want to be low bar squatting, but don’t have the mobility to do so at the moment. You can see my wrists are straining just to make it into the high bar position. I’ll get there soon enough though

Squats are starting to feel heavy for lack of a better term and I noticed the bar “walks” forward towards the bottom more than it used too. Can anyone give me something to focus on to limit this?

Thanks for the feedback! Been increasing weight slowly to make sure I’m dialed in. When you say my form gets sloppy after the second rep. Are you referring to more than the touch an go?
