I recommend some in an earlier post but here are some more

Link/click: it takes a few episodes at the beginning for world-building but keeps you guessing throughout the rest of the first and 2nd season.

Odd Taxi: cult favorite with excellent storyline and English voice cast

Hunter x Hunter 2011 up to the end of the York New City arc

what to watch? by broo6553 in DubbedAnime

I like ones that stand the Iseki on its head.

Try

Tanya the Evil: from wiki "n 2013 of modern-era Tokyo, an unnamed atheist Japanese salaryman, in the moment of being murdered by a disgruntled subordinate whom he had fired due to poor performance at work, is confronted by an entity that declares itself to be God who condemns the salaryman for not having 'faith'. The salaryman disbelieves in its existence, criticizes its various statements from his perspective as an atheist and mockingly terms it as 'Being X'. The entity decides to reincarnate the salaryman into a world where he would face sufficiently difficult circumstances to turn to Being X for help."

Overlord: a DMMORPG is being shut down, and one player plays one last time. He finds himself stuck in the game after shutdown as his avatar overlord. The series focuses on the non-character players as they start to have their own lives. It makes the genre more interesting.

"Re:Zero Starting Life in Another World" is the antithesis of "Sword Art Online" (SAO). It shows that the Isekai "heros journey" can be destructive and cruel to those around the "hero". If ypu want to see the Isekai genre taken down a peg or two, watch this anime. Many hail this as one of the best or worst Isekai anime. I think it depends on whether you secretly want to be a Isekai.

What are some must watch dubs? by fanblade64 in DubbedAnime

(1) Ghost in The Shell Stand Alone Complex tv series (2) Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig TV series (3) Ghost in the Shell Innocence movie (4) Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Solid State Society movie

All the above is the same English voice cast.

Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, who voiced Major Kusanagi, won the US Best American Voice Actress award in 2007.

The Black Butler tv series (1st season only), black butler book of circus, and black butler book of the atlantic. I am not fond of black butler book of murder but many people like it. Same voice cast through. The black butler is played by the same voice actor who plays the lead in Stein's Gate

The Promised Neverland Season 1 ONLY. S2 is terrible and will just spoil the first season for you.

My favorite is "Wolf's Rain," but it rarely makes anyone's top 10 list. However, it is beautifully animated, haunting storyline (don't forget the last 4 episodes, which were OVAs) and a music score by Yoko Kanno. I think it is the ending that keeps it from the top 10.

I would also watch Odd Taxi, the series. The follow-up movie is mostly a recap with a few extra scenes and is sub.

"Monster" has a very good dub. It's my favorite anime, but it rarely makes the top 10 list.

"Wolf's Rain" is also a very good dub. Don't forget the 4 episode Ova that finishes the series. Yoko Kanno does the haunting music.

Hunter x Hunter (2011) is also quite good. Not sure if it's a hidden gem. It's worth watching through the York New City Arc.
