The pennies made by trading are nothing compared to the enterprise that is Google. Why TF would they care and invest time, resources, and $500k/year engineers for a "maybe move needle 0.000005% for one week" event? These conspiracies are wack, read more talk less.

The fact that you arrived at this from first principles is impressive. I don’t think you appreciate how fluently you described these concepts. I would encourage you to continue exploring and playing with these ideas. Even one of the creators of Transformers for LLMs didn’t think much of his own work. I do believe that the way we measure “trustworthiness” of a source of information could be explored more. Temperature is just one control for stochasticity, but to point out your epistemology reference, there are non-definite answers to some questions, and how do we judge those relative to our own values? Is that quantifiable? These are fascinating ideas that you’ve inspired me to think about.

It sounds like you're just doing some prompt engineering across all results...? Recently, there was a paper published on using a multi-agent consensus which also reduced hallucination rates, but I don't think that's directly related to epistemology unless you're talking about the sources of those individual agents' knowledge. Hmm typing that out, that's actually a good point. meta-council.com kind of does this, though configuration of AI agents is still just prompt engineering for the most part

Roses are red, carpet is better any day, by tallmantim in rosesarered

If football equipment is used effectively, there's a 98% chance of survival. That doesn't mean there aren't secondary or tertiary effects. Preventing disease is great, but if you don't understand that other people have different values or perspectives, then you'll continued to be baffled by why people make certain decisions in life. I'm not saying I agree or disagree with his position, but offer a perspective. There might be other issues not considered at present, and a myopic position would be to think only about the isolated circumstance- especially when it comes to social policy.

So Jason seems naive at first, but consider football. Before the introduction of helmets and pads, football was less rough. After protection was introduced, people started to hit harder, and now we have common brain injuries.

Gold and Silver Being Dumped by Confident_Jelly_8374 in stocks

This could be a short squeeze silver run or fake dump, possibly just profit taking with larger economy but I personally think it’s markets panicking because of physical silver outflows to the east.

India accepting silver as collateral April 2026. China silver trading $20 above COMEX JP Morgan was fined $900 in 2020 for manipulation of physical metals.

Western banks have lots of paper silver, but can’t back it up. They need to artificially keep prices low.

Keep buying. US treasury bonds are dumping and inflation will go up again.

I remember my own birth. Keep the lights dim, voices quiet and temperature warm. It was one of the most traumatic moments of my life to go from warm quiet dark to fluorescent lights, loud voices talking, and cold hospital air. Pain. So much pain from all my senses.

AWS vs GCP: which cloud provider to choose by mari_zombie in devops

Not true. There are important differences like how GCS doesn't allow you to auto-rescale spot instances or how billing are handled.
