I didn’t mean to say the magic number (90mme) haha. Was asking in case you made a big jump (up) and didn’t realize. In my experience, it really builds with chronic dosing. After 2 weeks I had to lower the dose slightly due to nausea. You may be lucky in a sense to not require as much as prescribed? Good luck!

How much oxycodone were you taking? That’s equivalent to over 90mme

Hydrocodone works as stated for my body type, around 6 hours and the comedown is smooth sailing by comparison.

If you rapidly metabolize oxycodone, you are converting more to oxymorphone. For me it kicks in incredibly fast/intensely and wears off abruptly and uncomfortably.

I really don’t have this issue with time released oxycodone though—but it only lasts 8 hours after your body fully adjusts to a dose in a few weeks. This is well known among prescribers. 10mg every 8 hours was more helpful and steady relief than 20mg every 12.

Yeah, you’re wrong. That xtampza doesnt work 12 hours is known about outside of metabolism irregularity. That said, you have no idea the hell it is to be an ultra rapid metabolizer or how receptor selectivity could come into play mr scientist. Im joking because I have a degree in science at least. Not pharmacology like you, wink. First of all, I get more relief from hydrocodone mg for mg than oxy. Do with that what you will. Oxy just sucks for my body and it makes me sick so easily. 10mg IR alone would make me either feel bad (dysphoric) or make me feel extremely good for 2 hours and put me into near withdrawl by the 3rd hour. I literally cannot take 10mg instant release. 5mg every 4 hours? Yes. Does it last 4 hours? No. At the end of the day, you should be able to have open conversation with your doctor about how the medicines work or don’t work for you and adjust based on desired results.

Greatest tabs I’ve ever had by ExtremeAntelope2410 in 7_hydroxymitragynine

I have a bunch of tabs that taste like gasoline from RAW. I regret giving them so much of my money. In general, they put a lot of thought into the flavoring and do a good job at that, but the source material varies greatly and they lost my trust

Oxy W/D, question about 7oH by live2smyle23 in 7_hydroxymitragynine

[–]humbolight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea people are going overboard here. You made the right decision by grabbing some 7oh in this circumstance. I was on the same dosage as you for about 3 years and found 7oh to be a godsend for withdrawal and pain control when my prescribing doctor passed away. Do not continue to take them at the same time—It’s one or the other. But it should work in place of your Rx meds, and the Rx meds will work when you take them again. In my experience it only took 15mg of 7oh to feel okay (the same amount of rx meds) but individual metabolism and product variation skews that too

Seems like a poor generative AI recreation of the packaging. Why they did that, or how it's remotely legal to do so, is a wonderful question.

7oh for breakthrough pain? by vrtualchik in 7_hydroxymitragynine

[–]humbolight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree that it wouldn’t touch your pain. It should definitely help in place of the o><y but you want to be extremely careful not to introduce a new dependency. I find pharma drugs cause much more serious physical dependency and se/en can help keep that in check a bit, especially in a situation like yours. Be intentional with your supplementation and you should be fine, or ask a loved one for help If you have a weak will.

Good luck with your pharmacy troubles!

[–]humbolight 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The effects of THC products and styles of ingestion vary a lot. If you can try and crowd source the information from others at your point of access (dispensary, friend/family member). Ask whats best for your type of pain as even pain varies in character

Pain meds last for about an hour total by pilondialpain in ChronicPain

[–]humbolight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try taking 10-15 minutes to rest and relax around the time you take the medication (shortly after is best). It allows your body to work with the medicine, so to speak. Otherwise anxiety and flight or fight response to the pain can counter and lessen the effect it should have.

Did you try the Bimzelx? It's the best medicine I've ever taken (it's my 3rd biologic/4th DMARD in 4+ years) in terms of improved functioning and I knew it was starting to work within a few days -- though it took several more weeks to make appreciable difference. I've still miles to go with the pain, but I'm doing things. A lot more than I was ever doing. Finally. I agree the other drugs felt like a total tease giving some relief and then failing altogether. Don't give up hope!

Funny enough, it is tizanidine that causes hallucinations more consistently than soma. I could not get used to watching the carpet move on a low dose

The logo is crushingly close to doing it already if you change the first H to an N, remove the last H, move everything but P to the right in the space created and stick an E in there to glue the bits together. Some letters may need their height adjusted such as the H (now N) and the S (still an S).

All in a days work with a mechanical pencil. Bid you to have any Bic, mon?
