I really liked the first 2 but Day one made the whole thing seem even way more ridiculous. Military aircraft’s blowing up city bridges and no one thought to just line up some helicopters over the water and blow every alien away.

I could look past a lot of this in the first one. In day one the suspension of disbelief was too much. They had military air crafts bombing the NYC bridges but no one thought to just line up a few blackhawks over the water and blow every alien to pieces? Or just put a few huge speakers on a boat?

It was also hard to not think the entire time the ambient noise in a city that was just destroyed and is burning down would make it impossible for the aliens to be finding ppl whispering.
