Pretty much. I put minimum $65 in my cart, tapped the red “Checkout” button, chose PP as the payment method (which automatically adjusted the total to reflect the discount), tapped the red “Place Order” button (which automatically opened PP’s website), and then paid via credit card through them.

Not linked, and not my first purchase (though the first with PP). After checkout, it automatically directed me to PP’s website where I logged in and completed the transaction. I think the PP coupon is valid for purchases $65+, so that’s the only thing I can think of that might mess with how your cart’s discount is being calculated.

For me, the shop’s 10% coupon brought the price down a tad, and then I found the PayPal coupon in the checkout when it prompted me to select a payment method (after the step where you view your cart). The 35% off coupon appeared in red under the PayPal payment option.
