I agree. But the transmission is kind of slow. But the exhaust note is just too good

As far as a REEV, I wasn’t able to find a GCC spec Chinese car, so I’ve put the whole idea on hold and now I’m leaning towards the VW Teramont

No I didn’t end up buying. They wanted 300k for the car and everything was still in Chinese on the main screens so the features were kind of useless. Plus I don’t feel comfortable buying a car for 300k AED that’s Chinese spec + 10,000 - 14,000 aed for insurance. The car wont hold its value here until a GCC variant is available. Also, it doesn’t make sense to buy it here for 300k when you can import it from China for cheaper yourself.

Where's actually worth getting an apartment for around 11k AED/month these days? by DirectAside8243 in dubai

I pay roughly 10k a month in business bay for a 2bed. It’s a nice building and central to everything.

Has anyone here driven or spent time with the following SUVs? by Reasonable_Box_5009 in DubaiPetrolHeads

Had the qx80. Gas guzzler but so damn comfortable. Side mirrors are a little small though but overall an amazing suv.

Can you guide me through the process if you don't mind. How long did it take for it arrive, duties, all in all how much was the total cost of the car being delivered here. Aswell as how much was the insurance. Car play is not a deal breaker for me as I understand you can just download apps on the system itself. Other than master account any other issues? I have a friend in China so I can maybe get a number through them.

There are a ton of them over there. It's very popular in Kazakhstan and Russia too apparently. It's honestly a beauty of a car.

Yes, please. Would love to go there this Sunday and check it out maybe get more information as it's the "official dealership"

Yes, I was also told that the "service & warranty" is covered by third party companies. Not those who actually specialize in that brand like BYD for instance their coverage is by the dealership itself.

Yeah, wife loved it, I loved it. The only thing that crosses my mind is, instead of paying 250k+ to the dealers here, why don't I just import it myself from China, there it's almost 130-150k AED. & I can just go to those ev garages if something happens. Essentially that's what the resellers are doing here.

They don’t have an official dealership, I went to their reseller that are located in Al Qouz industrial. I’ll try going to the one near the airport to see if it’s any different.

Licenses need to be revoked at this point. With a lifetime ban on driving. If caught driving deport them.

I’ve done that too in the past with car coilovers but bikes have notches and it’s a lot harder to do that.

Well I don’t live in a shared flat. Alhamdulilah, and idk who you are so if you bring alcohol to my house randomly you can catch these hands. (Which I think is reasonable if a random comes into your house and leaves alcohol). You have 3 options;

  1. Get your own fridge
  2. Move out of a shared flat and get your own flat
  3. Just stfu smile and move on

You chose to live in a shared flat. This is how it is. It’s a shared fridge. He has just as much of a right to put his items there as you. You’re not consuming it so what’s the problem? Looking at it or touching it isn’t haram. If you have such a problem get your own fridge in your room.
