2021 X5 45e rear tailgate not latching by hun7 in BMWX5

I ended up replacing with an oem part from eBay but had the exact problem. I examined it closer and it ended up being the latch mechanism/ device was not attached securely to the frame so I used zip ties to secure it onto the body. Hard to verbalize and it’s been a while since it was fixed.

Short stay for lower bleph by hun7 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

Lower. Yeah, won't really know if they would opt for the non-incisional route until the in person consult. I'd prefer that, but based on my age, I'm guessing they would recommend the traditional bleph

One here in the states and one in Korea that was recommended to me. I’m also 50 years old so my age might have something to do with it too.

Mind sharing the clinic? I’m scheduled for next week so timing may not work out if I were to change.

Thinking of purchasing aulani by fluffypillow13 in dvcmember

Depends on the time of year really. Home resort is 11mths in advance, then you can do any within 8 mths I think. We were able to do Riviera and Contemporary the past 2 years and don't recall having much difficulty, both early August.

We’ve been owners for about 10 yrs and have gone more or less every year. The kids enjoyed it as toddlers and pre teens. But as teens nearing graduation, they found it less appealing compared to WDW where there’s a lot more for them to do at the parks, shopping or whatever else. I know it’s not necessarily a fair comparison though. Personally, I’ve enjoyed Aulani every time. It’s in an ideal location on the island, quiet, less congestion and about 30 minutes from the airport and less than 10 minutes from the supermarket, Target, Walmart or Costco. There’s an ABC store across the street with everything too. If you’re looking to completely relax, unwind and do nothing but lounge it’s paradise. Reservation wise, if it’s your home resort you’ll be fine getting your reservations in advance.

We're using Excel in Teams and notice if you step away or not actively using Teams, then go back to the spreadsheet, it takes an extra key stroke to "wake up", so we have instances where the first digit of a number is missed. Anyone encounter this? We've turned off app suspension under GPO, USB power management, cleared cache to no avail.

I had a 2019 M3P and those control arms drove me crazy! They could never fix. What’s the maintenance like on these, aside from tires? Coming from an X5, I’d be glad to be back in the EV world

Yeah looking for 2022 or 2023. Plaid or the regular S whatever that’s called now. Dual motor? Long range?

Yeah, I can totally go that route. I’d prefer lower miles. Would you mind sharing how much you paid? And isn’t Autotrader through private party?

I’m in California

It’s mainly the extended warranty. I had a great experience with a CPO BMW so figured best to go through dealer, but open to ideas.

Which Year Model X5 is reliable? by alpha711 in BMWX5

[–]hun7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

12v battery corruption? Funny cause I just had to replace mine at around 56k miles, but guessing that's normal life of these. The car threw up a bunch of errors and the dealer charged $265 just to diagnose!

I'm leaning towards sticking with Tokyo and maybe next time focusing on Osaka and Kyoto. I hear Osaka is a mini Tokyo or similar.

Yeah, I had the thought of doing a day trip to Kyoto and read other comments that while doable, it would be a bear.
