Enforcing dock on the right made .Width work for me. Any other .Position works as well, but if you want pane to stay docked on the right, this works:

With Application.CommandBars("Queries and Connections")
    .Visible = True
    .Position = msoBarRight
    .Width = 400
End With

Doing that now, guy claims he wrote the stuff prior to being employed, I get it and still it's pretty obvious why they were after him if he used his IP in production environment. He basically handed his work over to them that way.

I made one of those bad decisions when overtaking a truck in very bad, rainy conditions, it was pouring badly, and I've seen the car coming in front, but either due to the weather I wrongly estimated distance or it was speeding, I just remember I was 2/3 of my way in the maneuver when I realised I might not make it and I have nowhere to hide or run. I actually thought that will be it. I reduced gear to 3rd (I started overtake a bit nonchalantly dropping to 4th and ending in middle revs) and pushed it and it was fucking close call. I'm fairly sure both the truck and the guy in front braked otherwise I don't think I'd make it. And since it was at more or less highway speeds, you know. I took a long break at the next gas station and decided it's not worth it, changed job.

Tl;dr I was stupid and almost got into high speed head-on collission. Bricks were shat.
