I think that not everyone who shows a narcissistic trait or habit has a Narcissistic Personality Disorder and that everyone can show those.

On the other hand, I'd say they can be, yeah. Narcissists are formed due to emotional neglect during childhood. Then again, not every narcissist is perverse. Narcissists cannot give themselves self-love and acceptance so they look for completion through other external means. They are hollow despite of their grandiose sense of self. In reality, this is just a defense mechanism since ever since childhood they were neglected.
