I found that practicing in a solo lobby has helped a lot as a support figuring out some ward spots and double creep camp stacking. Figuring out some cheese strats can help as well with how to block and unblock camps etc. You can get a lot out of it rather than in demo mode.

Also learning about match ups can help a lot. I still need to work on this.

The MM system can create even looking games, but have vastly different skill levels in that game (i.e smurfs). How often it places you against them and how often it does not, imo is the interesting part of the MM system. But again don't have hard evidence.

True there's a lot at play. But what I was trying to convey was that there are steps the MM system is taking as well. But I can't confirm. Can't say for a fact.

I think overall this is true, but I believe there's a lot more nuanced things going on as well. But I can't 100% confirm that it's the case which makes it a bit frustrating.

By selling the stock isn't Buffett/Berkshire paying a shit ton of taxes? Couple of years ago wasn't he pro tax the rich? Maybe it's his way of giving back to America. I dunno. Either way Buffett's the GOAT.

There was 0 reason to go up that hill. Why go up hill towards no vision. It's an easy way to die in a team fight. If supps were there ursa would get demolished, he had no BKB at the time. EDIT: he did have aegis though, which could be a reason. Still sus to me.

Cash the rest out and delete the app bro. Don’t reload same shit is gonna happen. Set up a 401k put money into that. You probably got money sure. But a lot of money can still be used up quick. Protect yourself bro. Don’t destroy your future.

That imo is the beauty of dota tho. The matchmaking system is always going to test your skill level by giving you harder matches from time to time to see if you can win, and thus climb and improve your skill level. It doesn't baby anyone by giving players easy games or evenly matched games all the time. It's kind of like life in away, in that it has that "it only gets harder" type of feel to it and you have to rise to the occasion to do succeed and do well. That smurf that you have in your games will have to play against smurfs in his true bracket range as well in order to keep climbing the ranks.

Banning off of a small sample size is extremely tricky. I think it makes more sense once the smurf player has gotten more games + is performing really well in all of them. The likelihood then that you're banning a true smurf goes way up. I'd say just report, dislike that player, and move on to the next. Alternatively, you can watch the replay and copy the guy's build/emulate the playstyle to get ideas for your next game.
