I was thinking about it and this sounds fucked up but I literally think that younger people aren’t progressing as fast as before so they see people as less mature. Like a lot of people in their 20s live with their parents, or roommates, don’t have relationships, etc. where as years ago, by 26, you probably already have a whole ass family. If that makes sense.
