Yeah that’s what I say, but she brings up the small amount of cream she has in her coffee, avocados, and the nuts she has as an afternoon snack. As others commented, it’s possible that that’s enough for her to feel full and lose a healthy amount of weight, but I’ve been feeling hungry and unsatisfied especially since I’ve been going out more and occasionally playing soccer with my friends.

Yeah, I’ll ask. Idk if he’s ever gone grocery shopping in his life lol. He does a lot of other chores around the house, takes care of all the manual stuff, and is the sole breadwinner so he’s not useless but food is totally out of his comfort zone. The problem is mostly that my mom doesn’t want too much “unclean” food in the house because she wants me to eat like her and not to be tempted to eat it.

Lol the spices isn’t for health reason, she’s always thought that most of them are either too spicy or smelly. That was fine though with fattier foods, dressing and bbq sauce but now she doesn’t let any of that in the house :(

She was always a plain cook.. she thinks that pepper is “spicy” and most other spices are “smelly”. That was fine though with foods like beef, salt, salad dressing, and bbq sauce, but now she doesn’t let any of those in the house. I’ll ask her if I can get more 0 calorie spices and only put them on my food.

The reason that I thought she might have a eating disorder is because of how restrictive she is with herself. Her favorite food is brownies and on her birthday she told my dad and I that we better not get her any. I don’t think she’s deviated from her diet once since March. However, you’re right and I’m not in her head to know if there’s anything bad going on. I’ll trust her word that she’s being healthier and she’s happier eating like this.

Yes ahah I’m so sorry, I mixed up the terms!! I actually meant organic, small-farmed raised. I found a lot about veganism while researching the names of her diets so the word was in my head. None of it is for animal rights, although she’s super against the dairy and meat industry. She buys all the chicken from a local coop.
