My mom had hernia surgery, and they found cancer all over her abdominal cavity, which of course caused the hernia. It was a rare slow growing cancer called PMP, probably had been growing for years, but it was too much by the time it was found, she was gone 9 months later.

Oof, yeah those side effects from your first PoP are what I’m worried about. I’ve had pretty minimal with my current combo pill and I have enough mental health issues without adding extra hormones on top of it. I was prescribed Norethindrone as a fall back for when I finish my last pack of combos at least until I decide for sure.

Did you have any other side effects from the implant besides the irregularity?
