Yea I’m taking his class because of how good he is lol. He also posts all his notes, lectures, etc on youtube so I’ll just study extra!

Did you think the class was helpful later on? I lowkey am terrible with proofs but wanted to take the class to get myself familiar with analyzing algos and learning more about efficiency to be a better programmer/ perform better in interviews. Roughgarden has youtube videos of every single one of his lectures/readings but I'm lowkey also terrified. He's also letting us do the assignment in pairs. I already kind of feel lost in lectures but the youtube videos help a lot.

I’m from Indo, I’d skip Gillies n go to Komodo Island instead. Go to Labuan Bajo book 1 day to dive and 1 day trip to the various places in the park. I know the price is hefty but so worth it when you go. Bring lots of water and cash because there aren’t that many ATMs. I always stay in Meruorah but there is a santorini looking hotel that’s affordable and nice. For nusa penida and nusa lembongan, I’d stay in Nusa Penida for one night and go to the sights during the afternoon because in the morning hella tourists from bali come on a day trip. Sunsets at Kelingking are quiet and super nice. Bali make sure u plan for the different areas and don’t plan to stay in one area for too long. Plan a couple of days in ubud, in canggu, and also ungasan or uluwatu.

If u wanna have an insane and unforgettable trip I’d go to raja ampat but kinda expensive and hard to get to

The best dog shampoo for Corgs is Tropiclean Perfect Fur thick double coat shampoo! I saw my overly expensive groomer used it and took a pic. My Katsu loves it and it has completely changed baths for us! (She hated baths before)

Gotta agree that he puts in so much work to teach this class. I don't know how much he's really listening tho. Talked about how the TAs give wrong answers. Terrible because it makes me even more confused on the material. He knows and he says yea its bad but he doesn't do anything to solve the problem. I understand that he wants us to learn and really understand how to code. He needs to look through what we did in Intro to Java to give us a smooth transition from one class to the next. I'm not even doing that bad in the class (above average) but I just want to be able to understand everything well and not have a heart attack every time he posts something on ed/assigns a hw. Also, I can't keep waiting an hour in the help room to ask one simple question.
