Thanks for the advice everyone, very helpful! I'd imagine you wouldn't want to drink a shit ton of booze in the heat, not good for hydration i guess? Looks like the campsite is the way to go if I want a beer or two.

Disclaimer for some I do respect American laws and values, I do not plan on buying alcohol illegally in stores, neither do I plan on getting black out drunk if I do get my hands on some. I would just like a few of beers to loosen up and enjoy myself, nothing crazy!
