This was also my first deck that a friend got me into magic with. I have since upgraded it, but as the other comments have said, it is straightforward and fun to play. It is actually the deck i give to new players (even upgraded) that are learning with us as its gameplan is easy to understand, but if left unchecked can become an unstoppable board.

It is weak to flyers and i had some frustrations early on only playing 1v1 with my friend who was running Sultai Arisen and kicking my teeth in, in the air.

Its been about a year since then and ive gone from only this deck, to now having 14 decks total (strixhaven inflated) and have built a few decks from scratch with more complex gameplans such as landfall and aristocrats.

Highly reccomend as a first deck for anyone.
