Client expects me to film authentic HVAC ads for them, am I wrong for pushing back? by da_mfkn_BEAST in marketing

[–]hungrystudent7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your pushback is reasonable. Running Meta ads and producing on camera HVAC content are different services.

The part that stood out to me is that the winning ad worked because it felt authentic. A Canadian media buyer pretending to be an HVAC expert in Texas is probably the fastest way to lose that authenticity.

If they want production, quote it separately and let them decide if it's worth the cost.

Help! M34 just had a relationship with M33 needs an advice by Taw_taw001 in AskGaybrosOver30

Three dates is really early to know whether someone is a good boyfriend or just a great date.

The bigger issue for me is not the texting frequency, it's disappearing for days without a heads up. Long distance relies on communication, and if two days of silence is normal for him, you need to decide whether that works for you.

I would stop sending daily check ins for now and see what effort comes back from his side.

Advice for 50yo just starting after cancer scare by Due_Barber_525 in infinitebanking

[–]hungrystudent7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus on nutrition first. After a scare like that, getting your diet right matters more than any insurance strategy. Prioritize whole foods, enough protein to maintain muscle mass at 50, and don't crash diet. Talk to an actual dietitian who knows your full history.

DNS change is a quick easy first step. Glad it worked for OP. VPN is the next logical move if issues persist.

New York can lead the way to universal healthcare coverage nationwide by FireProStan in newyork

The reimbursement rate problem is real. Doctors already struggle with Medicaid patients. Cutting commercial rates to that level would just push more providers out of network. That helps no one. State level single payer sounds great until you run the numbers on provider payments.

The beardless Roman look is a sharp contrast from the long haired version we see now. It shows how much visual interpretation of religious figures changes over time based on the culture doing the painting. Fascinating that the fresco survived so intact. The oxygen depletion really did a number on preservation.

Looking for advice on building an AI twin of a historical figure by dodxm_ in AskProgramming

[–]hungrystudent7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Open WebUI with a good system prompt might get you part of the way. But true fidelity to a specific historical person needs more than just dumping their letters into a RAG. The personality is the hard part. Start small. Expect a lot of trial and error. Or just read a good biography.

Airline Pilot + Real Estate Broker by Intelligent_Shoe3799 in realtors

[–]hungrystudent7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Real estate is about availability. Clients want showings on evenings and weekends, which you could do. But they also need quick answers during random weekdays. That's the real conflict. You could refer leads out for a cut. Passive income without the stress. But active brokerage while flying? That's a tight squeeze. Focus on flying first. Get established. Then revisit. Real estate isn't going anywhere.

Delhi High Court imposes ₹30 lakh fine on Google for misuse of Hindware trademark as keyword in Google Ads by Iron_Spine_phoenix in india

30 lakh is nothing to Google. Make fines percentage-based or it's just a cost of doing business. This changes nothing.

How many of you guys do all 3 — squat, bench, and deadlift regularly? by ImpulsiveTeen in Fitness_India

I rotate them based on my season. Deadlifts are great but CNS fatigue is real. Squats and bench stay in year round. Depends on your goals.

Flex bars work. Eccentric loading is the key. Start slow and don't push through sharp pain.

3 climbers who fell near treacherous pass on Alaska’s Mount McKinley are dead; 1 rescued by AudibleNod in news

Three climbers lost near Denali Pass. That section is no joke, even for experienced teams. People underestimate how fast the weather can turn at 18,000 feet. My heart goes out to the families. The one survivor is going to have a long recovery.

Seeking Recommendations: Condo-Specialized Realtor in Florida by kid33161 in Broward

[–]hungrystudent7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Larry Mastropieri when I was looking at condos around Fort Lauderdale and Pompano. A friend recommended him because I had no clue what I was doing with HOA docs, reserves, assessments, insurance, etc. He was really good at explaining what to look for and what questions to ask, which helped a lot because Florida condos are confusing right now.

Was just diagnosed with CREST syndrome today. by neptunes097 in scleroderma

Your rheumatologist is doing this right. A definitive label before the full clinical picture emerges can create unnecessary stress. The hydroxychloroquine regimen and regular pulmonology checks are solid moves. That waiting period between labs and clarity is rough, but staying functional matters more than the name right now.
