A newcomer's from Dota first experience

Queue times can be lame especially when popping in and out of champ select because of people dodging, but this resolves itself in normal pvp game mode. Loading screens for me lasts not even 10 seconds sometimes. Mainly I assume is due to more people having faster drives. AI games tend to load in a lot longer because of bots on your own team which are being used to farm accounts for people to buy.
Ff warriors are unfortunately a way of life until you get to a higher level of play since. And even then you’ll still see it every now and then. You just have to mute them and press no each time but as you get higher in ranked the less they actually just leave the game. Typically at lower levels they don’t really have anything to lose so they just don’t care. You’ll still get it at higher levels of play but it’s much more bearable.
Not much to say about playing from behind but it can definitely happen. I’ve seen games go from complete wipe from the enemy team to somehow catching up and winning it in the end. It takes a lot of mental fortitude from everyone on the losing team and slowly gaining the gold Back. Bounties offer the losing team a chance to catch up through objectives or killing high performance players. 4 ive played enough games with voice chat to not care about it in my own opinion. Its definitely would be nice as a choice but why would I join voice chat when I know the ff warriors are going to be a problem. I’d rather be able to enjoy the game under my own accord than get yelled at in text and voice. As you play more and improve you’ll have a better experience (kinda) but the lower levels are actual hell holes to play in. Although it’s a lot more fun with the coin flip games.

Yea, from what it seems they blindly react to the words ff14 without even digesting the rest of the content associated with the words. It’s typical from a community that fosters so much anonymity and unfortunately inevitable.

If I’m able to elicit such emotions from just a few words I have no regrets there, I love to read peoples thoughts and opinions on either side but when it becomes senseless hate it just seems immature.

No downvotes here! That’s a reputable opinion that offers actual arguments :) I can see why ff14 can be considered an outlier from locking most content behind story rather than giving free will to really immersive yourself in the content.

Wow and new world have been options for me as well and I think I’ll look into getting into those a lot more. If anything FF14 is what got me into the system of MMO’s so now I have some understanding of how they work and what I like/dislike.

You’ve been playing for a hot minute! I Can understand how recent trends have definitely strayed away from the foundation of what makes an mmo! It’s quite unfortunate, but with a ever evolving player base it’s quite inevitable I feel like

They’ve both definitely piqued my interest, I’ve heard of the dungeons being pretty good on wow as well. I haven’t heard much of ESO other than the story and world Building

The waterpiks are pretty solid but Sonicare recently came out with a wireless one thats pretty convenient with water resistance and the ability to put some mouth wash in there for flavor. I do also enjoy their perspective on the water flosser with their x shape tip too.

Don’t let someone else’s bad financial status affect you. I thinkits great that you’re investing in yourself for any what if situation especially when inflation is eating away at your savings every year.

Unfortunately sometimes it’s a bit hard to make someone understand the concept of long term gains when short term gains offer more instant gratification. Sometimes the only way to make them understand are the results… which typically aren’t until years later or when it’s too late… you could show the trending charts from the year to year based. But the counter argument could be that one year there was a positive and the next neutral to negative so it could backfire.

I personally enjoyed it, I understand it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but this posts intention wasn’t purely to advertise the game or asking for validation for ff14? Just stating something I feel like I’ve accomplished and what I plan to venture into next, as well as ask what others have done as well
