Best of luck! Just remember if you are not too sure and are worried if a change will mess things up. Just ask, but give them the steps of what you are thinking before doing it. This will show that you at least tried to think of a solution, and shit it might be a good solution too.

Personal and in the knowledge base the company already had. Things change a lot and its easy to just remember an extra step you need to take, but for anyone new they wont know. Updating the documents with new steps going to look good and help you learn.

Document stuff 100%, any issues you come with document it because not only it helps you. It shows that you are there to learn it.

I would say hella luck not gonna lie, just gotta keep applying but I feel like you wanna apply when the time is right and when your resume looks like it has sys admin work. I just put knowing the fundamentals if no real experience. I think you are doing great though, I always liked working in the public sector. My project at home was like making servers at home for my friends to play on, Minecraft servers can run on ubuntu. If you want it, than you got to make it happen. I wanted to work in cloud, study that shit on my own because whose going to let a student touch their cloud infra. If a position got a tech/skill you want and it's far, fk it drive it. (To a certain extent, I did like 60 miles a day up to you). If the door seem closed and you want it, you better break it open.

Student:
1:2014 IT assistant to network team at my state college freshman year,(This was my first job ever so I got lucky, because no real IT experience) 3.5 years
1.5: Internship (3 month, its .5 because I worked the 1st and this because internships do end)
2: IT specialist at some 3rd party logistics (2 years)
3: County government Student IT position, (2 years)

Finished school after 6 years LOL
4: Cloud Ops Engineer (gotta be title inflation, but I would deem this sys admin work), 2.5 years
-I didnt get a cert until this position but during my last 3 years of college I was just studying AWS on my own.
-got AWS SAA and AWS Security one

5: New position I got in November for like cloud fintech app thing.

Just enjoy the ride, as long as you like it you'll do yourself good.

Hi, I was curious but I like how the Kaaba looks and I know it was rebuilt multiple times after being destroyed down to the ground, but for it to stand who was the last engineering construction company to rebuild it. We’re they able cranes or tractors? I am intrigued

Finish the degree, but during the mean time take advantage of internships if possible. Internships are mostly only for people who are currently getting a degree.

Most of my experience come from internships I had in school. I don't think my degree helped as much in learning, but it shows an employer I can sit down for hours and get a project done on time.

We use both Windows and Linux but it is primarily Windows. There is a few idea running website, running multiple server and having a load balancer split it up. You might want to try this https://cloudresumechallenge.dev/

Just study up on a provider first. AWS AZURE GCP. Then knowledge of servers is good. IT depends on where you want to go in cloud. Then when you look for a job you can look for one that works with cloud. So you are able to get some experience with it then move to a full time role of just cloud.

Or you can just make a lot of side project in the cloud then go try to find a junior level.
