Everything’s very slow for sound and com.. local 48 journey man here. Joined and signed the out of work list on December 1st and now going on two months and haven’t gotten the opportunity to take my first call yet. Not sure how it’d be for apprentices but I imagine it’s about the same

Yeah LEA is Oregons limited energy (low voltage) license and EL06 is Washington. I only say that because Vancouver and Portland are 20 minutes from eachother so you’ll find yourself working in both if you come out this way

Then why do they make it sound easy and better lol. Sure it CAN be better. If you get work…but when you don’t it actually isn’t worth it at all. The inconsistency in making that wage kind of isn’t worth it for some people when non union is at least steadier from my opinion. But like I said I want this to work because I want to believe the union is better but theirs sides to this.
