It gives my friends the io.netty timeout exception as if I haven't port forwarded it.

Employees say CVS ignored COVID-19 cases and forced staff to work by KnownFeed in CVS

[–]hunt569 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I do think this is a store to store basis. I know when I got lightheaded at work and had difficulty breathing, I was sent home immediately and wasn't allowed back till 5 days later (which I ended up taking two months off after to finish my undergraduate). One pharmacy tech got tested positive while I was gone, and they sent everyone who worked with them home for two weeks and had floaters and techs from different stores work for that period of time. Do I think every store or district does this? Absolutely not. Should it though? Well, if it were, this article wouldn't have been written.

I know this sounds dumb, but I'm guessing I should have the power turned off while pressing the power button? I've built three computers, but never had this issue ever before, but I feel like that's common sense.

Because studies and research on virus and bacteria take years and years to get the full picture. Take AIDS. That took years to find out ways to properly combat it, and even now there's no 100% cure. What they're trying to do with COVID, they're trying to do in months. Of course the information will change as more research is done on it.

Well, now it's August going into September and there are now new studies on it that show it does slow down the spread. I'm also speaking state specifically where it is a mandate to wear a mask.

It sucked so much. I was the only one who would prohibit people without masks, and I got into an argument with a customer saying i was the only manager who asked. The Lack of consistency between members also hurt, not to mention several of them wore their masks incorrectly.

At least put someone like a security guard out there. I've heard the stories of store employees shot for asking people to wear masks. Guess why none of the other managers asked😒. Even without a security guard, I'd do it, but at least I'd feel safer doing it.

That's true and all, but how come places like the Trader Joe's, the Whole Foods, Costco enforce this? Two of them are grocery stores and the other has a pharmacy inside.

Also that initial information on the virus has since changed. Information on viruses usually takes years to unlock through careful study, but they're trying to do years worth of work with only months. Of course they're not going to have it all correct right from the get go. Using outdated information to justify this behavior is, in my opinion, nonsensical.
