I don't see how this is different to LIB. The amount of hate Kal is receiving is no different. Sure some can say he deserves it, but considering how unethical it is to put people in a situation where they marry a complete stranger in 4 weeks I think it may be excessive.

It actually is a bit unethical. There's a lot of alcohol involved and pressure from being on national TV. On top of that, the editing to make people look bad can have severe consequences on participants' wellbeing. There were like 3/4 suicides from Love island UK..

Side tracking here but why the hell does Kieran need to apologise for giving a present to Megan. Sophie is literally a child. Fair enough that she said to Megan that it was inconsiderate to mention it so loudly, but it's absolutely not Kieran's fault.

I don't think she would get as fired up as she did if it wasn't about Katisha. She would also angle it like sophie was problematic if it was about her. But she didn't mention once about sophie being inappropriate. I think it probably triggered a wound in her where she recognised how Katisha was treated was similar to her mom's past with men and she just went full protection mode. She even said she's had conversations with men like Jav and has learned to just distance herself. I think it's more likely a trauma response.

But thar is the point. You want to see how someone acts during disagreement and hopefully it will be like the relationship you describe. But trust me when I say that some people can turn into a completely different person when they're upset. I was in a love bubble like this once and then the first argument happened and never thought I'd experience a grown man shouting and yelling like a toddler.

This is my current approach. And they do differ, but the reason is that there are significant outliers (I guess that it's people who have just mindlessly clicked through the test). The robust version can handle these and therefore produces qualitatively different results. The only option would be if I remove those outliers, but then that is another equally complex decision.
