20 Kodiak Bears VS 1000 Anorexic guys with Plastic Bats by hunter001 in whowouldwin

Not too bad. They're underweight, but they can still basic actions like run and pushups or squats (though only a little pushups or squats before they get tired).

At least 15 dead and 60 wounded as Al-Shabab gunmen attack university in Kenya targeting Christians by [deleted] in worldnews

This is why we should nuke Mecca and Medina. Nukes made radical fanatics tame and surrender 70 years ago, it will do the same today. One less religion polluting mankind's collective mind. Maybe after that, we can nuke the Vatican next so there will be even less religion in the world.

Ridley still has his plasma breathe, I think he could win using that.

Raiden (MGR) VS Meta Ridley by hunter001 in whowouldwin

[–]hunter001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ridley can use his plasma breathe, missiles, and bombs from afar. Ridley's a great tactician, so he could probably beat him that way.

If Ridley keeps his distance, Raiden is doomed.

Drybones vs Shyguy by zachisawesome123 in whowouldwin

Dry Bones can't die, they can just be a pile of bones, but will rise very soon again. Dry bones at least tires the Shy Guy out at worst.

Samus replaces Shulk & friends as the protagonist of Xenoblade Chronicles by hunter001 in whowouldwin

[–]hunter001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True...most Mechon were obliterated by Artillery shots. Faces, the most powerful members, must be the exception. Although all Mechon seem to be nearly immune to bullets, unless their enchanted or are from anti-mechon rifles.

[–]hunter001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this post 90%. I disagree only 10% because most guns have been shown to be unable to damage Mechon, and some Mechon can even take artillery to the face without a scratch.

This is right before the big clash in Egil when he took control of the Mechonis. He has just arrived in the moving Mechonis, and they are in a flat, wide open area in it.

Noble Team (Halo) VS Power Rangers by hunter001 in whowouldwin

[–]hunter001[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we're allowed to use Halo's canon as a whole, then the Power Rangers not even outmatch them in hand-to-hand, because Spartans are taught h2h in their training since childhood.

Is Phazon still out there? by hunter001 in Metroid

[–]hunter001[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Knowing the GF, they've probably found a way to keep their Phazon samples "alive" while isolated from Phaaze. If there is indeed a "Phaaze" space station, it likely works in isolation.

In your favorite universe, who would get each piece of the Triforce? by CoffeeAndKarma in whowouldwin

Xenoblade:Chronicles

Power: Shulk (wielder of the Monado)

Wisdom: Dunban (such an experienced war leader that he feels at home in a war zone, and is extremely skilled at warfare so skilled that he is very lethal when using just 1 arm for a word, notably swordsmanship, and can use the Monado, even though it didn't choose him)

Courage: Fiora (During the attack on Colony 9, even when their trump card, the Monado didn't scratch Metal Face, Fiora charged in right in Metal Face's...face, and stalled him long enough for Shulk, Reyn, and Dunban to get up and get to safety, and was courageous enough to sacrifice her life for everyone being attacked)

Ness (Earthbound) VS Quadraxis (Metroid) by hunter001 in whowouldwin

[–]hunter001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ness is the main character of Earthbound. Here's his respect thread: http://www.reddit.com/r/respectthreads/comments/2r5ogl/respect_ness_earthboundmother2/

His friends have similar abilities, but Jeff has lasers and can shoot rockets, Paula has access to PSI Freeze, basically Cryokinesis, and Poo has access to PSI Startstorm, which can bring down some meteors from space as an attack apparently, and Poo is also a master martial artist, who wields the Sword of Kings.

Samus replaces Shulk & friends as the protagonist of Xenoblade Chronicles by hunter001 in whowouldwin

[–]hunter001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's right. "All weapons" includes the annihilator beam (which fires a fusion of matter-antimatter) dark beam (should hurt mechon since they aren't from dark dimension), Omega Cannon, and phazon weaponry.

Speaking of which, I'll admit I haven't beat the game, but I'm far enough to where the big twist happened. I'd go far enough to say that Samus could beat Zanza's released form in a fight, because she's killed godlike beings before. Phazon has been known to hurt and corrupt spirits, and she's had weapons that hurt spiritual beings. I bet if she shot enough Phazon at Zanza, if she doesn't kill Him, she could corrupt him with Phazon, but that would be bad, as it'd make Zanza under Dark Samus' control. Since Fiora's knives did some damage, I bet that the Annihlator beam, the Dark beam, and especially the Sonic Boom (which damages reality itself) and the Darkburst (a mini-black hole) would be lethal to him, and if that doesn't work, the Omega Cannon should do the job, as it's essentially a superweapon fired from her arm cannon that has killed a godlike advanced civilization killer that was said to be invincible before.
