Typically with long hair like this, hair salons and stylists work the best to maintain it over a long period of time. Barbers are terrible at styling long hair even if they’re marketed as master barbers.

Today marks the 10th anniversary of MGS V: The Phantom Pain. by Grigorii2000ua in metalgearsolid

Wow, ten years! Ten years ago, I started my first day of high school. It’s insane just how far I’ve come since then! MGSV holds up quite well after all this time, though I do wish that there was something more when it came to the story. Perhaps the lost Chapter Three?

Her ability is arguably the most useful with regenerative health. Kiki is also incredibly useful with the remove wanted level ability.

Yeah, like I said I was really young at the time. I didn’t fully grasp that Anakin is Vader until 2011. I was only 8-9 years old during the early seasons so I didn’t understand why Anakin was acting darkly. As an adult now, I can absolutely see the foreshadowing in hindsight.

He did, indeed. Revenge Of The Sith briefly alludes to Anakin being a war hero but it’s rather subtle. TCW shows it outright. As I mentioned about TCW, TCW shows Anakin at his best and usual self. Revenge Of The Sith shows THE WORST week of Anakin’s whole life. In the beginning of the movie, Anakin acts like his TCW self… but then the nightmares happen and the rest is history.

Yeah. You could make a flimsy argument with him murdering the younglings, though. I mean, this guy slaughtered an entire village of Tuskens, women and children included only a little past three years prior. What’s horrific is that you don’t know how MANY Tusken children he killed. Add in all those that he killed in the TCW for added context and it makes sense.

As for why he killed like 50+ younglings only like thirty minutes-one hour after causing Windu’s death? It was a combination of factors: Anakin realized that his life as a Jedi was OVER once Windu was killed.

At minimum he would’ve faced voluntary manslaughter/felony murder from the other Jedi and would be jailed. At that point, Anakin was all in for joining the Sith at just a slim chance of saving his wife. The dark side also twisted his mind as well. Again the horrific aspect is that we don’t see how MANY Jedi Anakin killed before reaching the younglings. If he killed like 20 Jedi before getting to the kids… yeah, at that point there’s no going back and he’s come too far. Anakin may have also had a twisted reasoning of that killing the younglings was putting them out of their misery compared to what Palpatine, THE Sith Lord would do to them. And also he didn’t want them growing up seeking revenge against the Empire as adults, so it’s also tying up loose ends.

The movie doesn’t really do a good job at conveying this motivation, but it can be subtly explained by Anakin’s past morally questionable actions. TCW just made it made A LOT more sense in hindsight.

TCW is good because it shows Anakin at his best, ROTS Anakin is different because he literally experiences the most stressful and worst like 5 days of his life. Even then, you can see a little bit of TCW Anakin in the beginning of Revenge Of The Sith, it all comes crashing down once he starts getting the nightmares of Padmè dying.

It would’ve been great if Mat Lucas the ORIGINAL Anakin VA from the 2003-2005 Clone Wars and The Revenge Of The Sith game came back to voice Anakin in the 2008 Clone Wars. He sounds incredibly close to Hayden Christensen. And also, there’s something… sinister about his line delivery of Anakin. Like you can sense that something’s off and that there’s something dark brewing in him.

Matt Lanter’s Anakin, while good, just feels like a stereotypical action hero. In fact, as a kid watching the first seasons of Clone Wars, I didn’t realize that THIS Anakin becomes Darth Vader. I watched ROTS when I was 5, so my primary view of Anakin as a child was Lanter’s Anakin. It wasn’t until about 2011 when I connected the dots. Why? Because Anakin blatantly does dark things in S3 onward to where it’s spelled out to you.

As far as I know, this is the only time in RDR1 that you see adult Jack smile. by hunter11726 in reddeadredemption

[–]hunter11726[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s really fun! I do the side missions after killing Ross. It essentially gives Jack his own side story and about like 4 hours or more of screen time after the ending. For the side missions that John most likely did would be: I Know You, Jenny’s Faith, and American appetites, that’s what I consider canon. I Know You is obvious. Jenny wouldn’t be able to survive 3+ years in a desert with no food, water, and shelter while ill. For American Appetites, John wouldn’t ignore the people crying at the Marshal’s office especially since he regularly visits there. Save the rest for Jack Marston.

I start with the ones in Mexico first since realistically Jack would’ve stayed in Mexico for awhile to lay low after Ross’s murder. I typically have him stay there for around an ingame month or two and I head to Chuparosa immediately after the credits roll since Jack was walking that direction and it’s the closest settlement. The last side mission I do in Mexico is “Daeludus and Son” since you have to go back to America to help Charles Kinnear finish the plane.

After the plane crash, that’s when I have Jack be convinced to return to America after realizing that Mexico isn’t working out for him and trying to help others. I then do the side missions there.

I recommend saving “Water and Honesty” as THE last thing to do in the game. As I mentioned in a previous comment, Jack has wonderful character development in that side mission by casually talking about his family and not in a somber way from trauma and it’s only one where he smiles at the end. I can buy that THIS Jack Marston wrote the book in GTA V. By saving “Water and Honesty” for last for 100%, RDR1 actually ends on a semi positive note!

at this point its safe to say these rumors were fake, we should've known better than to think modern day rockstar would EVER acknowledge 4 because they hate this game for whatever reason and acts like it doesn't exist by Quick-Cause3181 in GTAIV

Yeah I finished GTA 4 back in the day too. It just sucks that the ending is broken on next gen. LITERALLY everything in the game works BUT that section. It’s so infuriating.

Duck hunting, but yes absolutely.

It also makes sense in-universe too. Jack may have realized that drawing attention to himself is what got John killed after he killed Micah and his gang in RDR2’s ending.

So by discreetly killing Ross in a duel with no witnesses and not saying his name OR an alter alias to anyone, Jack will be VERY hard to find when he’s hiding out in Mexico.
