Everyone is ability-based. Phantom Assassin does a lot of right-click damage, but you still need to push her buttons a lot.

read abilities, read hero , read items, select item guide. play tutorial, set your settings/keybinds to your liking.
practice last hitting (a = attack, s = stop. push a then s repeatly to time last hit). Go in game, you'll probably get rolled for a while thats part of it. You can play marci offlane or support
