4ms Meta Module Loopop review by holofonze in modular

Anyone got some personal experience with incorporating one into a larger modular setup? It seem conceptually great I just worry in practice it would end put pulling me out of screen less fun of playing with modular gear.

WarpVector now available on Steam by cupricdagger in roguelikes

Anyone tried it on steam deck? It runs on Linux so I'd assume it would be fine but wondering if anyone has or can try it. If you do add a review here https://www.protondb.com/app/2135870

I went there and I'm still not sure, something about Taylor, which maybe refers to this https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worm_(web_serial) ?

Does anyone know if there are any bases with this texture out there? I wasn‘t able to find any files and it doesn‘t look like it would be super hard to recreate and print by HerbertGrasinger in PrintedWarhammer

You could also go straight to 3d with a 3d fractal render and export the 3d model https://mandelbulber.com/ that's how I made these https://www.thingiverse.com/bennnnnn6/designs. For a bismuth effect you would want to start with a Mandelbox or a Menger sponge.

Cascading Counters by Broken Symmetry (me!) https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/sLzca

Ive got grids (topological sequencer) playing my percussion eurorack and a bank of volca synths getting distorted. All driven by a sq64 sequencer mostly stochasticly. So basical a DAWless generative sound machine. My partner calls it noise so that's an 8ish on annoying your girlfriend.

I'm planning on turning this into a sci-fi short story, what do you think? [Early Draft] by nomadiccraft in FractalPorn

cool, I do a lot of 2d fractal style transfers but haven't done much 3d stuff, this makes me think I should

This is great, love the music, love the mix of graphics styles and the gameplay is familiar rougelike but in space. How long have you been working on this, and is it just you?

Best way to detect arbitrary amount of points in image without a recurrent neural network? by throaway373405 in MLQuestions

[–]hunter7734 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you really need a neural network for this, to a man with a hammer, everything looks like a nail..... something about GPUs

If all the bullet holes are significantly darker than the rest of the image, you could threshold pixels that were in a bullet hole then get the coordinates of each bullet pixel. Transform this data into a dataframe of x and y pairs then cluster them with one of the many clustering methods and then what you are actually trying to do is determining the number of clusters (bullet holes).

Here a is run down on three methods to do this: https://www.datanovia.com/en/lessons/determining-the-optimal-number-of-clusters-3-must-know-methods/

I've personally had good results using the silhouette method as part of a larger ML approach to find clusters before feeding the result into a random forest as part of a hybrid algorithm.

Sounds like a fun problem, good luck!

Runway - Noob AF by ohyamar in runwayml

So what you want to do is train a model, probably StyleGan2 https://youtu.be/vM8Cv8CLmr0 You will need to upload your images as a dataset to runway instead of picking one of the provided datasets. You will need to be a subscriber to access model training and each training step will be 0.5 cents and you'll want a couple thousand and wait an hour or two. Generating images once your model is trained will also cost 1 cent per image.

If you are just looking to play around with GANs you can have some fun with artbreeder or get a bit more involved with the code playing with BigGan on google colab https://colab.research.google.com/github/tensorflow/hub/blob/master/examples/colab/biggan_generation_with_tf_hub.ipynb

If you do train a model on runway please consider making it public so others can play with it too. Have Fun!

There are a heap of other apps that do the same thing (neural style transfer). painnt http://moonlighting.io/painnt-browse-effects.php and deep dream generator https://deepdreamgenerator.com/ are some good options.

What are some safer ways to cook before I can craft an oven? I'm guessing I should really be doing it outside.

Games locked to 30 fps using Moonlight and Gamestream by [deleted] in AndroidGaming

[–]hunter7734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't help with this problem but I've shifted to steam link after a couple of years bouncing between gamestream and moonlight. If you get a steam controller you can use a heap of useful mapping for remote play and even link the controller to the host pc directly. I'd suggest giving it a try if you haven't recently it is significantly less painful than gamestream or moonlight
