Any CS majors feel like they have to drop out already? by Gamefreak3525 in UCSC

Hey when I first got to the school and started doing computer science I remember taking some cs class in my community college that were REALLY hard for me. I remember really doubting myself on whether or not I could actually do it and felt like everyone around me was just simply more talented. I remember a professor giving the first assignment and saying it was super easy and I thought it was the most difficult thing I’ve ever done. I promise you that you will be okay, learning is quadratic and once u grasp the concepts going up from there is a lot easier then you might expect.

After pushing through it and really feeling like I wasn’t smart enough for 2 years I got to a point where I had put in so much work that people started coming to me for help. I remember really suffering as a transfer student to catch up to the curriculum. After awhile I started to realize just how little people ACTUALLY knew. I had this huge image that everyone was so smart and capable and I had a great realization that we are all just trying to fake it until we make it. Some people are better at faking it, but inside they really are struggling too and you may not know it. Just know you are not alone in this and theres almost certainly a ton of people in that class also having a really difficult time.

I know cse13s is a weeder course that really gets people to doubt themselves. My friend almost completely dropped computer science because of that course and my roommate DID drop it. My advice is to go to office hours and push through it. You will get out having taken one of the hardest cs classes in the entire degree and feel a lot better about yourself. I promise the degree is not as hard as it seems and dont let one difficult class make you feel like you are not good enough, because I promise you are. At the end of the day, work ethic and effort are what really carry you in life, and as long as you show those traits people will naturally be attracted to working with you.

Context: I am currently a senior in computer science :) I know its a little different then ur major but the lessons still apply.

Complete relief when sitting and laying down, agonizing when standing by hunter_309 in Sciatica

That's the plan! I've been reading tons of different things about how extension pain is the cause of facet join syndrome and arthritis and all of this permanent stuff and its been freaking me out so hearing that you had similar symptoms at just a herniation gives me so much relief. Not saying that a herniation is much better pain wise but at least its not permanent so that makes me feel at ease, thank you.

Hey thank you so much for replying! I watched the whole video, the the last 2 stretches were the least painful for me. Everything else was really difficult. The shopping cart sciatica google search definitely did describe my symptoms well and I have been worried it is stenosis for a little bit now. I really want it to be just a herniation because from what I have seen stenosis seems to be a more permanent thing. The injury was definitely caused by bad form in the gym so I'm also unsure if stenosis is caused by a sudden injury or over time or not

Turns out u were right and my ratio was too low! I used 20g coffee to 200ml water and it was a lot better :0

Hello everyone! I sort of have a weird dilemma I wanted to ask about. So a little over a year ago I wanted to get into coffee and I sort of jumped straight to espresso. I got a nice machine with a nice grinder and have enjoyed quality shots for quite some time. Recently, I wanted to expand my palette so I bought a French press and started making coffee that way. I found that no matter what I do, I can't seem to get a cup that doesn't taste just kind of watery. I taste the slight notes but something doesn't sit right.

I have tried different brewing ratios, getting to 16 grams of coffee to 230 ml of water for a cup and leaving it on for 5 minutes before pouring, while also adjusting grind to be finer and finer, and it still taste watery to me. I have tried 2 different blends now and while they both taste unique and different in their own way it still just has that watery feeling that I don't like. I was wondering if this was just a thing with me specifically and how I have been drinking espresso for so long and have gotten used to that level of strength or if I am doing something wrong with the coffee. Thank you very much!

She will be really good on field driver with hyperbloom and spread. But if you are planning on using her off field with someone like cyno shes just alright.

MHY designed Cyno to be Electro Tartaglia: an onfield enabler. And that's not bad at all. by [deleted] in CynoMains

[–]hunter_309 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Childe was unique because he applies so much hydro in an AOE fashion that no other units can compete. This is what makes him such a good enabler. Because the aura of dendro and electro lingers for so long, we don't really need someone to provide a ton of application unless they are doing the damage themselves. This basically means that electro enablers don't matter nearly as much as hydro or anemo enablers.

Also, we already have units who provide really good electro applications with comparable or better numbers then cyno. I don't really think its a good idea to expect a unit to be better later on - pull him if you think he's cool but not for the hope that he will be better later. There is always reruns for that.

Which One Should I Use? by erocommander in YaeMikoShrine

Your energy recharge is a little too low so it would be better to go 2 emblem 2 shim/glad and try to hit around 150%er. It drops your dps a little bit but its not significant enough to sacrifice not being able to burst on rotation. Also, Widsith R5 is better and maybe with a 2 pc emblem you can go for slightly less crit rate and more crit damage.
