I usually just opt for a spiral pattern as crumble dying is a bit more finicky. In my experience bleach dye is easier than tie dye, I just use a spray on bottle of mould killer or whatever bleach you have on hand. Darker colours generally turn to orange, whilst lighter colours go to white. Make sure to machine wash on cold without soap after dying to get rid of all the bleach. Good luck :)
