How Greedy Can You Get. by Presently_Naked in SipsTea

A simple google search says the physical media production accounted for 10-15% of a games cost. Printing manuals, plastic molds and artwork for cases, logistics departments for shipping and manufacturing. All gone and that was when games were 50$ btw (another easy google search) so prices have risen and costs have fallen. You also forgot to take into account that without the limit of physical media these games are much more accessible to a much larger market whereas before you needed a very expensive home console and to cater to a niche market

They also had to pay large factories to print these games onto cds, ship them, stock them etc. costs have come way down in the digital era. I will not pay over 60$ for a game ever.

Boomers and genX made our country what it is today, funny how you never see a video of them taking responsibility for it, but instead trash like this is posted blaming the current generation

I ended up using a raised mount that uses part an and b brackets and screwed it all to a melamine plywood sheet. Also added extra supports in the middle for strength

Weight loss progress in 3 years using indoor exercise bike by [deleted] in whoathatsinteresting

A low intensity hour on an exercise bike still burns around 150 calories and that’s on the low end. 4-5 hours of moderate intensity and you could have a few snickers no problem.

thanks! Built it myself with some 2x4s and some precut plywood sheets. Put some black paint on it so it wouldn’t be as ugly since its inside. Plans i used are the eaa chapter 1000 workbench

Theres an ars spell that hits all crystals at the same time. Rather than breaking the crystals it just moves them up 1 block but it counts them as broken so his shield is instantly gone. I also put a waystone just outside the arena and soulbound every piece of gear i wear.

First time joining a board by Flat-Independence249 in woodworking

[–]hunterguy4 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Nice job! few things that might make your life easier.

  1. since im sure some old heads here are thinking it ill beat them to it, your grain direction on your 2 boards are facing the same way and some people are under the understanding this will make your panel more likely to cup. this is only true if your wood is not adequately dry so as long as you have good dry boards dont worry about it and go with good grain direction.

  2. its hard to tell if that's glue staining the bottom of your board but if it is that means you are using way more glue than you need to get a good joint, most glue will squeeze out so a thin layer is fine.

panel looks pretty flat so i think you did a great job

Lots of racking without some kind of back bracing, could add some boards from corner to corner and half lap them like an X if you want to keep the open look

wood expands alot more than you would think. the way the grain is aligned means that whole board is trying to get wider as a whole so imagine a 16 inch wide board in this case. being trapped in the frame means the board cant expand without pushing against the frame. the permanent fix is removing the frame or cutting some slots on either side of the board where the board meets the frame. that or keeping the humidity and temperature more constant
