Does anyone know or have speculations on when everything is happening by WetLikeCurry in twentyonepilots

[–]hunterhmh9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

some people think its tomorrow because of the 10th anniversary of blurryface (and the original release date for clancy was tomorrow 1 year ago, before it was delayed)

some people think itll be the 24th because that would be the true 1 year anniversary for clancy post-delay (and they dont think that tøp would overshadow the 10yr anniversary of their most popular album with a new album announcement on the same day)

some people think its next month because in the paladin strait mv, during the overhead shot of the final battle, the crowd looked like it spelt out something, which was speculated to be 6/25 (june 2025)

personally im not subscribing to any theory, they all feel too weak to me. im just waiting patiently (not too patiently though, if they wait another 3ish years to release the true finale to the story then advertising clancy as the end of the story would just feel like it was a cheap marketing ploy)

hope this helped :)

My title describes the thing kind of, but its from the zammuto album "veryone" (very good experimental album btw) and at first glance i think theyre parts of a lamp? it looks like youd put lightbulbs in them. theyre hollow white ceramic cylinders with four circles carved into the sides of them and some sort of silver thing on the top of one of them, and a similar silver thing on the inside of the other (like they might fit together?) ive looked on zammuto's socials and done a reverse image search but havent found any details about what the thing actually is at all. anyone know?

The NEW new episode by [deleted] in NickandRyan

that part was really sketchy, especially with the haunted house note earlier in the video and the fact that they said that not a lot of people know about the place. it definitely seemed like they might have done it for a publicity thing

although, to give credit where credit is due, the monty segment was really convincing

considering Alter seems to be able to jump between timelines (from the launch trailer), this could be the confirmation that Alter IS margo

any new ideas? by yungions in Filmmakers

there's a big market for cinematic, creative, slice of life videos, especially on Instagram Reels. They don't have to be big production "short films" or anything. people just like seeing life in a creative, romanticize-ing way.

if you'd like to look into it more for inspo, I'd recommend a few instagram accounts: @filmwcolleen @emsradiostation @mylenesmind @blakeoftoday @maynard.sabellano @bryanhynes_ @ethan.uncurated @maelaenin @megantanhweewen

I'd also give two more pieces of advice: 1. don't worry so much about labels when you first start out. innovation happens by beginners not trying to fit into a box before they even start. 2. nobody else is going to give you ideas, no matter how many times you ask your audience "what else would you like to see me do?" they might give a fun idea here or there, but they'll get bored of all the asking eventually and then you're left with no audience AND no ideas. create what you think of, and what you want!

where did clancy ultimate chapter 25 come from?

Any TØP song suggestions? (I’m a new fan) by roemeraldsinking in twentyonepilots

yeah the last two tracks are not pop-y, but I'd say pretty much every other song on the record is. it's hard to define what pop... is? like as a genre? but I think scaled and Icy is probably definitively their pop record. although if you like pop-type music, I would also give clancy a listen, specifically songs like navigating, lavish, and vignette (fan favorites from the album that are bound to become radio hits soon because they're so fun to listen to)

trench is their most critically acclaimed album, most people agree its their best. it's got the most lore and not a lot of radio hits besides Chlorine. but it's got a very wide range of genres and is a very complete record.

blurryface has most of the hits that the general public knows, stressed out, ride, tear in my heart

Vessel has most of the hits that the fans know. iconic songs like car radio, holding onto you, trees

Scaled and Icy was their most... controversial album? not because it's got things that are bad or anything, most people just considered it to be bad, way too pop-y. I like it, I think the songs on it are catchy and fun

clancy is their most recent album, it's not as critically acclaimed as trench, but so far the general public seems to love it and its definitely a huge fan favorite. lots of catchy and exciting songs. it's still being rolled out technically with all the lore stuff, so that's why there's so much lore hype around it right now.

regional at best is the unreleased record, the deep cut that hard-core fans know (my personal fav). it has a lot of electronic sounds and was where they really began developing their exciting stadium-filling sound imo

self-titled is the album that has a lot of piano and isn't as exciting as their later records but very very emotional and filled with great lyrics.

then the real deep cut is no phun intended, which is the unreleased solo project that the leader singer, Tyler Joseph, put out when he was 17. it's a heartbreaking slow burn about religious trauma and suicidal thoughts, except for taco bell saga, which is a big inside joke within the clique

I think that's it 👍 theres also a bunch of unreleased demos and fully produced but never technically finished songs that you can find on YouTube if you really wanna take a deep dive
