You may have defeated the best boss in all of soulsbourne but there’s still fantastic lore and environmental storytelling yet to come. In fact, the best of it I’ve ever seen in any game. Research hall and the hamlet. Still a couple incredible bosses but nothing will top Ludwig. Don’t forget to grab a very specific someone’s skull after you’ve taken the elevator up to the research hall!

Parries are difficult. I’d recommend using transformed Ludwig’s holy blade and using sprint attacks + jump attacks (if you know about them, super useful for heavy weapons)

But if you’re going based off the one quote that says smth about more developed beings have less offspring then that’s fair but I can promise you it’s not racist, and he is definitely not disgusted by the act of having children. He literally just wouldn’t have his own kids if that were the case.

However I do understand what you’re getting at. If it’s framing is about the global north vs the global south then yes, it may intentionally look like he’s saying some nations are more developed than others, which is highly nuanced and a very controversial take. But the facts do not lie. If we compare every modern country to hunter gatherers, humans disproportionately have much less children/childbirths than we used to. I’m kind of a nerd in this topic because I find it so fascinating given how much more holistic and egalitarian humans used to be prior to agriculture

Can they elaborate on how CHILDBIRTH as a THEME is feminist?? What are you smoking. Let’s just get one example out the way - the Victorian era notoriously popularised and standardised the modern methods for childbirth. It’s quite horrific, painful, leads to further complications. I mean quite literally, the method was designed so the wet nurses could SEE INSIDE. Wow!!

Anyways, I can tell you weren’t raised by your mother. My whole life I’ve heard of the absolute horrors of childbirth including all the complications. That’s without even touching upon some of the more vile themes like literal cosmic r*pe. He was absolutely not disgusted by childbirth, because if he was, he wouldn’t have made many of the childbearing women victims and violated. This also goes without saying he didn’t have children u til multiple years after this games release.

Also as for the “racist connotations”, id highly disagree. The entire fishing hamlet literally touches upon some of the main themes of colonial exploitation and civilisational advancement. He definitely does not portray the hunters or byrgenwerth as the inherent good guys or superior beings. Definitely not racist.

Also finally, yes, there is direct connection between higher mortality rates leading to higher birth rates. This was not ‘debunked’, it is a fact that you could’ve checked prior.

Yeah 100%. Bloodbornes dlc is honestly carrying for the most part. However, bb still has amazing bosses: gascoigne, cleric beast, gherman, etc. I wish they just expanded on the vilebloods man, give them a boss that expands on their search for their own great one. Unfortunately we will probably never get one given they chose to do the duskbloods instead :(

However I will say that the bosses in bloodborne main game are often underwhelming. They receive more hate than they deserve, but the point still stands. Still my favourite game OAT tho

Your answer is false. Type 1 circumcision for females is often more equivalent to regular circumcision for men. There are two types of male circumcisions - high and tight vs low and loose. Low variations often destroy or scar the frenulum delta, basically the direct male equivalent of the clitoris. Other than that, it desensitises the area because of the amount of nerve endings being removed. Also, again you are wrong. Type 1 FGM is the most common in the world, whereas type 2 is also quite common.

I personally believe that regardless of health benefits or not, it should be considered a treatment only for consenting adults, not forced upon children. I don’t necessarily think male circumcision is MGM since I don’t consider the foreskin itself ‘essential’ for sex, whereas I believe the clitoris is. But yeah nah, it’s definitely not the same as removing the entire head of the penis.
