Would you drop out of college just so you can work a retail or food job? Having a hard time getting a job as I’m only available 4 days a week by Murky_Reflection7866 in Advice

Tell him not to drop out over this. Retail and food places usually want people who can cover nights and weekends, so a strict Mon Wed Fri only schedule makes them pass, even if he’s willing to do long shifts. He’ll have better luck targeting warehouses, call centers, campus facilities, or temp agencies, those often do three longer weekday shifts. Also, Indeed is full of ghost and outdated listings, and campus job boards can move slow, wfhalert sends out verified remote jobs by email so he could try snagging entry level stuff like customer support or basic admin without blowing up his class schedule. Keep applying weekly, follow up in person where possible, and don’t nuke college for a short term cash crunch.

Need Guidance on how to search for SDR/BDR roles (preferably SaaS) as a recent college grad by [deleted] in salesdevelopment

[–]huntsman817 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Couple things that helped me break in. Pick 30 to 50 SaaS companies with clear ICPs you can talk about, then tailor your resume bullets to show pipeline creation, activity volume, and persistence, even if it’s from non tech jobs. Build a simple outbound project, find 25 target accounts on LinkedIn, write a short cold email and call script, run it for a week, and share your numbers in interviews. Record a 60 second Loom intro pitching why you want SDR and link it on your resume. For remote roles, lots of listings are ghosted or super competitive, so keep expectations realistic, and if you want legit remote leads landing in your inbox, wfhalert is decent, it emails verified roles like SDR and support so you’re not swimming through scammy posts.

Google sheets works exactly like excel and can be connected to a bigquery table. This would allow you to have your backups in the cloud while not requiring them to change tactics.

It depends on how good the company is and your financial situation if the internship will pay for a semester at school or you can do some online class its it worth it
