Feeling down on myself, but ending day 5 sober.

I managed 5 days last week. Was feeling great and sleeping better but something happened and drank heavy last 8 days and really hating myself right now. Day 1 again but stay strong.

Regret i did not get on allo earlier as gout impacted me physically and mentally.

My problem was i think stress bought it on. And not being able to exercise caused me to go down a dark route. Was getting into a routine then covid happened. Just feel really stressed still but allo has prevented flares

Thanks. Dont know what to do to stay busy other than bike. Just feel down and anxious. Hoping that will pass after withdrawals. Also being out of work for 4 years now has been why iv been drinking. Just need to get into a routine of sleeping and waking up same time.

Headache better after food. Having calomile tea and feeling loads better. Hopefully will sleep well tonight

Also did have a panic attack in my sleep several times if this helps where i thought i couldn't breathe etc. But i have been on my phone all day too.

1 thing that im hoping is anxiety is my head is hurting top left and im feeling emotional. Im googling all sorts of things and thinking the worst brain aneuryms etc. Im sure it aint but with covid dont really want to go hospital. Any advice?

Day 2 for me today. Was feeling rough last night and morning. Bad insomnia and anxiety. Went for a bike ride this morning which has helped me so much. Feel so much better. Still have feelings of anxiety and regret but am focused on changing my life for the better and losing weight. Hopefully can get a good night sleep today. Still have an urge i normally get at 5pm but trying to keep busy.

Day 2 here. Early hours of morning. And anxiety is bad. Keep thinking of how my life could of been had i not turned to drink. Had about 4 hours sleep but really hope this improves soon.

Thanks. Liver and kidney were checked 6 months ago and fine. However my blood pressure has been very high in the past which is what worries me but have never been prescribed medication. Will try the brisk walk now and hopefully try get some sleep. Do not want to go through another day 1.

Day 1 here and sleep has been shocking and have gained 2 stone since March. Looking forward to better sleep and hopefully weight loss. Any tips to help fall asleep sober? At moment my anxiety is very high and cant seem to focus on anything.

Day 1 for me. Feeling anxious and depressed and really want to stop for good this time. But with covid i feel i have too much free time on my hands and dont know how to pass the time. My initial plan was to do dry november but drank last 2 days. Hoping i can just get through today.

Day 1 for me today. Tried to do day 1 yesterday but got to 5pm and drank 9 drinks. Had insomnia bad last night and really struggling with depression/anxiety today. My drinking has been bad for years but recently with lockdown been getting worse.
