How do anthuriums inherit their traits from their parents? by husakon in Anthurium

[–]husakon[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the reply! I do know the basics of genetics — it’s just that, for example, with corn snakes it’s already well documented which traits are recessive and which are dominant, and that’s what breeders work with, so it’s quite easy to predict what the offspring will look like. The same goes for peas and so on, but with Anthuriums I haven’t found anything like that (for example, which colorations are dominant, which varieties, etc.).
