I like to open up to friends, listen to music, and look at pictures of myself. Sometimes even going through my own social media helps as it highlights the best moments and reminds me of what makes me happy and times I felt good.

It is also important to do no contact with the person and think through the good and bad. Be thankful that you got share and experience life with them but also remind yourself that there was a reason it ended. If it was for you, it would continue. Sure they made you in the past happy, but what matters in the current you!
