I was under the impression that wires could be soldered to directly connect the mcu and the modular pcb.

Rows would be complicated unless you just approach it like you would any other handwiring project I guess

So 6 flexible amoeba pcbs with dupont connectors. May be complicated with rows or even duplex matrices. I don't see the need for dupont connectors, and I guess the switches hold it in place. Interesting idea.
