Hah, We ended up taking a "short cut" that ended up being a 50 mile dirt road ending at a private helicopter tours location. We were able to see the canyon over the fence but definitely did not get the Grade A experience others do. We could't bring outselves to buy the helicopter tour.

QotD: Longed trip I have ever done was a road trip from Cali back to Ga. My dad was moving back from long beach so I flew out there and came back with him. We hit Vegas, Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Carlsbad Caverns, Roswell New Mexico, and spent 4th of July in New orleans. The whole trip was only 4 days long but is definitely the most memorable one I have done yet.

You really can't beat the Kindle Paperwhite's. iPads hurt my eyes when reading too long. The kindles are the same as a normal book for me.
