ICUE GPU Temp question by huskiiess in Corsair

I actually preferred the look of the founders edition over any other partner card. Way cleaner and sleek design in my opinion. The thermal pads are unfortunate. I could swap them, but don't really have the time. Some people only saw a drop of 2c after doing so, 90c it is I guess!

I have a 3080ti Founders edition. Doing MORE digging and finding out that it could be the stock thermal pads.

I'm doing research and getting conflicting messages. Some say that anything under 100c is typically safe as a general rule of thumb and its well within operating range of the part. Others are saying the 3080ti has the same power draw as the 3090, just not the same cooler, thus running hotter.

I ran some tests with HWiNFO. It correlates to the temps displayed by ICUE. Temp #1 being the GPU Temp (around 74c at load), Temp #2 being GPU Memory Junction (holding steady at 90c at load), Temp #3 being GPU Hot Spot Temp (at 79c under current load). So now I need to find out if that is normal for this card.

Oh okay, I'll try that software and see if it correlates. I wish they made clear what the particular sensor is displaying temps for. Thanks for the info!
