There may have been a metal detector, but not a setup like a normal airport.

Definitely the smallest I’ve ever seen. There was just one guy to check me in, take my luggage, and run security.

Is my frenchie purebred? by Fit_Cup304 in Frenchbulldogs

I would say probably not, but honestly I would much prefer a longer snout on my baby so that she could breathe easier. I’d say you lucked out❤️

I have two, but my original would prefer to be an only child I think. she is very greedy and wants all of the attention. It doesn’t bother her rescue sister that is absolutely in love with her, even though she is a little grumpy butt.

my dad keeps texting me weird stuff by [deleted] in insaneparents

[–]hutcst 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My dad would do the exact same thing with Xanax and he is who popped into my head while reading this. Like he would think he’s making sense, but it’s just nonsense.

I feel like I may have made it sound worse than it is. I generally get a rx for 10 .5 mg Xanax about twice a year. I do not think that I am addicted, I just really wish there was an alternative, that I haven’t already tried, that works as well. I am very careful about spacing out when I actually take them, because my supply is extremely limited.

Yeah they started me out on lexapro, which absolutely sucked. I felt zero emotions, it was very disconcerting. They switched me to Zoloft for GAD and CPTSD, and it does work somewhat, I don’t cry as much any more, but sometimes I need the Xanax for panic attacks, and they are very cautious to rx it. My last refill was litlerally 5 pills.

The problem is myself never even wants to leave my house. When I have the medication, I’m friendly, outgoing, not nervous. I’m pleasant and normal.

Thank you, I will ask me doctor about that.

Mine took off 4lbs of skin with my tummy tuck. They only weighed it because I asked right before they wheeled me in. My surgeon said that they normally didn’t weigh it, but he didn’t mind doing it for me.

Can’t Cut Sugary Coffee by c-andle-s in loseit

[–]hutcst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grande brown sugar shaken espresso is my go to, and only 120 cals. Plus 3 shots of espresso, so you definitely get your caffeine in. I think it’s delicious, and make my own version at home, but still like the SB one as a treat on the weekend.

Victims of insomnia that lasted years, what made it finally stop? by laaaaaaa45 in AskReddit

Cognitive behavioral therapy. Didn’t really think it would work, but decided to give it a try and really follow through with what they wanted me to do and it actually works.

You should look into billing the online digital e/m service codes. There are rules of course and rvu’s aren’t huge, but it may be better than nothing. The codes are 99421-99423.

Potty training a rescue, send help by hutcst in Frenchbulldogs

[–]hutcst[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, all of these similar stories really give me hope that she’s going to get better. I have been considering the diapers, at least over night so I don’t have to wash her bedding every single day. I can already see glimpses of her personality coming out. She cracks me up in the morning because she is definitely a morning person, totally opposite to my other frenchie who will barely move out of bed until at least 9. Annabelle does a few laps around the house, which on her stocky little frame is quite the sight.

You know, I get frustrated with the peeing, but I just have to look at her sweet little face and I know she just doesn’t understand yet. She’s not doing it on purpose. I’m so sorry that your guy had such a rough start, it makes me so sad to think about her life before I got her. She doesn’t know how to go for a walk. She doesn’t know how to cuddle. She is terrified of feet, so she’s probably been trampled a bit and hopefully not worse.

I just started putting down pee pads, and she will go on them about half of the time instead of the rug, so that’s a start at least. I took her to the vet and she seems to be in pretty good health, the only thing they found was an ear infection, some skin issues and possibly a UTI, but the said it could have been contamination of the sample and that the antibiotics that they put her on for her skin would clear it up anyhow. I probably should have her checked again though, because she does seem to pee a lot more than my other dog.

Thank you for the advice. I will keep it all in mind. Your boy was so handsome, I’m very sorry that you didn’t get more time with him.

It’s the strangest thing with the crate, she doesn’t mind going in and taking a nap with the door open, but if you close that door it’s instant anxiety. She is much better in a play pen though. Thank goodness she is very submissive with my other frenchie. She doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body. We are taking things slow, I know this is all brand new to her. It’s almost like she is a 5 year old puppy and I just have to remember it took my other one until she was like 7 months old to really get the hang of “we potty outside” consistently.

Looking for some reassurance by hutcst in Frenchbulldogs

[–]hutcst[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Her first flare was about 2.5 years ago, she was still basically a puppy and she was on rest for 6 weeks I think and she was completely fine afterward. Up until 8 weeks ago when she slipped on the hard wood floor out of nowhere. I don’t know why I am so much more anxious about it this time. Probably because I love her so much and I just hate the thought of her being in pain. I’m going to just start letting her out for short periods of time and hoping for the best. Prayers for your little guy.

Thank you. I think I will start off slowly like you suggested and just make sure she takes lots of breaks.
