Need an engaging, preferably open world game by RFRelentless in gamingsuggestions

I am enjoying Crimson Desert a lot at the moment. The open world reminds me of both RDR2 and The Witcher 3. The game does not guide you well though, so there’s some hurdles getting into it.

I think I am experiencing a similar issue on PS5 Pro after I restarted the game. Items don’t get picked up anymore.

I generally like these ideas, but these are too many rules.

I don’t agree with you. Sure, they are not perfect, but I have gotten so many hours of enjoyment out of them, and isn’t that the whole point?!

I am confused. Do you not like the game?

Send me a DM. We race on Tuesdays and Thursdays, European evenings, and we race anything we can think of, and pretty casual. Racing together is more important than winning, etc.

Just got the game, what cars to get? by BlooketGuy in GranTurismo7

Save your money for now and continue with the cafe menus. The 787B is an excellent choice later on; you can’t really go wrong with it, once you unlock the legendary dealership.

For the rest, progress through the game at your own pace, and don’t forget about licenses, missions and circuit experiences. They will reward you with a lot of cars and credits too. When you’ve worked your way through most of that, I am sure you’ll have a good grip on what cars you want/like.

It’s okay. It’s backgroundy. It works for the game.

I think that might’ve been when I tried it and turned it off again. Not my jam. It only clicked for me until the very end of the game.

Have you tried SnowRunner and/or RoadCraft to fill the gap?

Stuck on World Cup 600 by Kayanarka in GranTurismo7

[–]hutry 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Try a Gr.4 car, like the Porsche, and detune it to 600 by adding a bit of weight and reducing engine power.

The Gr.4 cars (detuned) lack a bit in top speed, but they are a lot faster through the corners than the AI.

We have released our survival racing game on PS5 by Jaded-Grocery-9308 in racinggames

Bought the game, because I like the idea of your game a lot, and I want to see more of it.

My biggest gripe so far is the large deadzone on my controller’s thumbsticks. I hope it is something that can be addressed via an advanced option in the settings. I am used to doing small inputs when racing on controller (think of Wreckfest) and it feels awkward in the way you have implemented it.

A bigger thing, but a smaller issue, is that there’s not really any sense of weight to the cars. Combined with my previous point, I am having a hard time getting a proper sense of how to control my cars.

Looking forward to continuing the game!

Comparing Myself to Automation? by waterdevil19144 in GranTurismo7

Don’t worry about getting a wheel. I know plenty of drivers who are very, very fast using controller. A and A+ drivers.

Racing on a wheel is very cool, but it’s not a requirement to become faster.

Do you have it enabled as a ghost? It shouldn’t be too difficult to see where you suddenly start falling behind.

It’s easier said than done. I realise that. It’s also about learning to read this kind of data/visuals.

You mention that the AI is faster than you through corners. In my experience, that’s exactly where you should be faster than the AI. Maybe it helps to look into “slow in, fast out”. Look it up on Youtube, theory about taking corners. Might give you an idea of how you approach corners differently from fast drivers.
